We just love Kauai and have stayed in a few of these unit over the years. This unit is tucked in a bit so even with the doors and windows opened it was very warm. They did provide several fans. That we used all night. The nice part was this unit is on the ground floor with no unit above. The king size bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were large and there were no shortage of towels. There was a washer and dryer. That was great to wash beach towels. Kitchen had all the amenities to prep meals. Over all we would book again.

A comfortable house for 7 with a beautiful ocean view

It was an excellent choice. The house came with plenty of beach toys for the kids and lounge chairs for the adults. Also, it is conveniently located next to the very nice resort with a water slide and lazy river (tickets form non-residents of the resort can be purchased). We will be staying here again on our next Kauai trip!!

This property was as advertised. Communication before our stay was excellent. Everything was clean when we arrived. The unit was well stocked with everything that we needed for the week. The location was great. The only downside was that with the windows open for ventilation, we could hear people in the parking lot late at night.

Beautiful Condo near Shipwreck Beach

The condo kitchen was great, we cooked all of our meals there, a cooler, umbrella and beach chairs were provided, which made it easy to take lunch to the beach. The beds were comfy, the living room, dining room and kitchen were connected and made for nice gathering. There is a view of the ocean from the lanai and each morning we walked down to the beach to watch the sun rise. The one negative was the outdated lockbox key set up with a door handle that doesn't automatically unlock and has to be manually unlocked, which creates a dangerously easy situation for accidentally getting locked out within the first minutes of arrival. Highly suggest a keypad entry for the door or a secondary lockbox.

Wonderful place to make base camp

Everything was easily taken care of and as advertised. there was construction going on in the complex and it was noisy, but that also got me a discounted rate so no complaints. Now the roosters on the other hand….but that is everywhere on the island!

Great stay

The unit was in a great location on the island. 5 minute walk to the beach, supplied beach chairs came in handy. The unit itself is very nice. Note that there is no air conditioning which did make for some hot days but there are lots of fans available.

Wonderful location

Great location! Well stocked kitchen. I would recommend a tile grout and carpet cleaning, but otherwise was nicely cleaned. Sleeping without ac was a little uncomfortable, but the location made up for it. The Murphy bed was very comfortable (but I couldn’t find sheets so used the top sheet from the master bed. Overall, a very nice trip. Thank you!

Great base camp for island adventures

This property was exactly what we needed while we explored various parts of the Island. The condo was clean, roomy and had excellent amenities that we needed for the 2nd half of our Hawaii trip. Full Kitchen and laundry services were a major plus, helping us keep breakfast and lunch costs down, as well as helping limit our packing with laundry. Kitchen had every thing we needed and soap/detergent/etc. were available for use. Condo had additional amenities such as beach gear and coolers to help with our daily excursions. Nice view of lawn from inside condo and view of ocean from part of the Patio.

Worth Repeating

We enjoyed staying there so much, we booked another condo in the same location next year. That one was already booked. Comfortable, well-appointed, amazing location! The property management company is quick to respond, friendly and efficient. We loved walking out of our back door to the beach. Other beaches are all a short drive away.

Fantastic place

We stayed with our 4 month old baby for a week. Great location. Easy walk to the beach and coastal trail. Peaceful property with everything you need. We rented baby gear from a local provider and the staff coordinated with them to have it all set up before we arrived.

Wonderful Stay

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Piop’u Sands. The condo was right next to the Grand Hyatt where my wife had a conference. Perfect location for exploring the South Shore of Kaua’i. It was great having a kitchen and dining area. They even had beach chairs, towels and coolers for us to take to the beach. It made our lives so much more comfortable and our trip that much more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfection

This place was perfect. Clean beautiful and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful! This condo opened to the grass. Was right by pool and short walk to the Hyatt. As well as all the other beaches in poipu. Thank you!!

Somewhat deceiving

The property itself was very nice and clean. However, it was never mentioned to me that there was no air. I had an 86-year-old staying with me which made the days and some evenings very hard. I felt I had to impinge on others to keep her overnight on hot evenings. Even with the fans running on some evenings it was very humid. Everything except the Grand Hyatt was booked solid, so unless I wanted to pay over $1000 an evening, I had to stay where I was. My husband had to fix the lanai door several times as it kept falling out of the track. Also, it was stated that there were beach towels, but there actually were not any and I had to go out and purchase my own. I also had to purchase my own paper towels and toliet paper as there was only one-half of a roll in one bathroom and one full roll in the other bathroom. Also, it said it could accommodate 4 people, but there was only one set of bath towels, which meant we had to get detergent and keep washing the towels. As I said, the property was very pretty and clean. We were there for my son's wedding and I felt horrible having to impinge on others to accommodate my mother-in-law. This is my first time using an Air B&B. I guess if I do decide to go this way again, I will have to for sure do more research as to air conditioning and ask many more questions.

A Lovely Vacation Stay

We had a marvelous stay in this condo. Everything was very clean and organized. Sitting on the patio, we watched the ocean and all the cute birds. We barbequed a few nightd, which is located very close to the condo. We enjoyed the pool, which is about a one minute walk from the condo. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for having such a lovely place for vacationers to stay.

Beautiful stay in paradise

Steve and Leah provided us with a wonderful stay at their Poipu condo! The condo itself was in beautiful condition, was spacious, and was well stocked with towels, linens, and beach gear. They were both communicative and accommodating during our stay. We immensely enjoyed our stay, and look forward to our next Kauai vacation so we can stay at their condo again!

Rented this place for our honeymoon, we were very happy with it, was nicer than the pictures of it online. Was clean and very quiet and peaceful, only think it could needs to make it more comfortable is air conditioning.
