"We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. The lanai was awesome but the AC outlet is on the lanai with you and was exhausting hot air pulled out...

"Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. One thing to be aware of before booking is that this condo does not have air conditioning. That was my oversight when booking, but I didn’t realize the evenings would get warm enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. "Best thing about this place is location. Very close to beach and strip mall right across from this resort property. Few things which were disappointing was the noise from the wild chickens that wander the property. They started making noise every morning at round 3AM. They are loud and I had to put on my noise cancellation headphones to get back to sleep. "Excellent location and amenities for a family with 2 young kids, who loved the sandy beach, pool, and grassy area- all of which were right outside our door or within a 5 minute walk!The condo was incredibly cool and felt so relaxing and comfortable after a hot day in the sun (it had an AC unit in the main area and bedroom). "One of the best condos we have ever rented! This condo is perfect for families with young kids. It was incredibly well stocked, beach gear, kitchen supplies, etc. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but there is plenty of parking at all of the beaches. There’s a great shopping center with restaurants that’s an easy walk, and the condo is located right across from the pool, which was so convenient. The condo complex is very nice and safe.
