Summary:

Kauai's Sunny Poipu Beach Estates! A Beautiful 3 bed, 2 bath single-level plantation-style residence near World Class Beaches, Golfing and Shopping.



The Space:

The residence is designed as a gathering place with an open, airy living area ideal for entertainment of all kinds. The kitchen features stainless appliances, a generous island and lots of counter and storage space resulting in an excellent setting for creating memorable meals. The primary bedroom suite and spa-like bath and the 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath are at opposite wings providing space and privacy for all. The bedrooms are air conditioned with split A/C units. The covered lanai overlooks the private yard and BBQ, a great spot for a good read, a competitive game, al fresco dining or an umbrella drink at days-end.



You will be only a few minutes away from the Shops at Kukuiu’ula, Poipu Shopping Village, Kiahuna and Poipu Bay Golf, along with beach and ocean access galore.

You and your Guests will have full access to the home and it's many listed amenities.



The Neighborhood:

You will be located in Poipu Beach Estates. Only a few minutes from Beaches, Shopping and Golfing.



Getting Around:

A rental car is highly recommended. We have Lyft, Uber and the County Bus available, however they are not a reliable source of timely transportation.

Host interaction was outstanding. They were very responsive and allowed us early check-in. They were always prompt and helpful. The location was very good. We were overall disappointed with the property however. The interior was “tired”- pretty sparse sectional couch in the living area with no side tables or reading lamps (there was no place to put a drink down except the floor!). Only a single side table and one reading lamp in the bedrooms that had king/queen beds so my wife had good lighting but my side of the bed did not. The kitchen cabinets were worn and the beach chairs have seen better days (one chair was broken as well as one of the umbrellas). We spent a lot of time away during the day but never really enjoyed our nighttime there. For 700 per night we expected a bit more.

Such an amazing place to stay! My family loved the location, being able to relax on the lanai, and all of the house amenities. The house itself was clean and stocked, and the hosts were beyond kind and gracious, and quick to respond to any questions. Truly a dream vacation!

Great stay!

Perfect house and location for a relaxing vacation on the beautiful island of Hawai‘i. We enjoyed to have three sleeping rooms and two bathrooms. The highlight was to sit outside on the lanai even when it was raining. We can recommend this house by 100%.

Beautiful house in great location

Our family of 6 (grandparents, parents, and our two kids who are 11 and 15) stayed here for 9 days and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious, and it was well supplied. It was very clean when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable. The porch is a lovely place to hang out in between our excursions. The neighborhood is quiet and serene, and the location is great - walkable to a beautiful beach and two upscale shopping centers with restaurants. There were a lot of beach towels as well as beach chairs, pool noodles, and coolers, keeping us well-supplied for beach days.Management was excellent and very responsive to any questions we had. My only complaint (maybe not shared by my husband and in-laws) was that there were no chickens in the neighborhood, so no loud chicken wakeups at all hours of the morning during this Kauai stay ;)

Family reunion

The property was large and very accommodating and comfortable. There is a master wing with a king sized bed and private bath, and on the other side of the large living area there are the two other bedrooms that share a bathroom. Perfect for our group. Plus two hideaway beds in the couches in the living room. There is a great patio with a large table where we ate dinner many evenings because the weather was so nice. You can also eat inside on the table that seats eight as well. The agents were very responsive and stayed in touch. The only issue we had was the tv stopped working and we couldn’t get it fixed, maybe because it was the weekend. Also the screen door going from living room to outside patio gets stuck and is hard to open and close completely and probably needs to be adjusted. Everything else was great!

Wonderful location, beautiful house

The house and grounds are beautiful! The location is awesome; so close to beaches, shopping, and easy to explore the island from. We were really grateful for the beach chairs, umbrellas, 2 boogie boards, sand toys, and ice chests. Everything we needed for our large group! The house had many amenities. Above the stove there were spices, tahin, syrup, etc. The beds were very comfortable. The owner, Paula, is so accommodating! She gives lots of tips via text and answers any questions promptly. She supplies laundry soap, softner sheets, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Coffee for two of the machine is also provided, as well as tea. The only downside is the hot temperature in the house. Although we open all the kitchen/livingroom windows and turned on the ceiling fans as suggested, it was so hot (a humid 80+) that we couldn't relax and hang out as a family. Trade winds came occasionally, but not enough. We would leave the house early and stayed gone until evening to escape the sweaty heat of the home. The bedrooms have air-conditioning and I strongly suggest using it. Close all the windows in those rooms and enjoy. The master bedroom is really big, with a tiny airconditioner, but it's cool enough with just a sheet. Overall, the only thing I would suggest the owner do in the future is to add air-conditioning in the main living space so people can enjoy a comfortable stay.

Great location and amazing house

Had a great time staying at the property. Location was near beaches, shops and restaurants. Kitchen was stocked with everything you can imagine. The owner was very helpful with providing info about the house, the neighborhood, even getting through the additional steps for airport check in.

First Trip to the island

Pleasant and Peaceful!!! Very nice house, it reminded me of our home back in the main land, open, clean, quiet!! Very peaceful! Paula did a great job communicating before, throughout, and after our visit. It was our first trip to the island definitely not our last!! Perfect for families!

We loved staying here as a family. Plenty of space for everyone to hang in the living room. Can get a little warm if there aren’t any winds but the air conditioning in the bedrooms work well. Great location.

Perfect for Families!!

The house was perfect for our family vacation to the island. It's in a great location, easy to get to in, and in a private neighborhood. Shopping and restaurants are within a few minutes drive or easily within walking distance. The house was furnished extremely well and even went above our expectations with a full supply of cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, and coffee! Paula is very communicative and great to work with. Would defiantly stay here again.

Great place to stay!

I think other reviewers have already mentioned the key reasons this house is awesome. The one major issue that we realized immediately upon arrival is the front steps are extremely slippery. It’s a rainy island, and the steps are in dire need of some non-slip strips of some kind. My husband slipped and fell on the steps when we first arrived while he carried our luggage up. Thankfully he’s young and able-bodied and wasn’t injured. The spot he slipped on has obvious paint wear and tear making me think we weren’t the first people to slip…. The main living area of the home is very hot. Thankfully the A/C in all three bedrooms works great! Otherwise nice clean property, quiet at night, super comfy king beds (the twin beds would be best for kids as they aren’t the most comfortable mattresses). Walking distance to coffee, shopping and the beach (20 minute walk). Unfortunately not a lot of sidewalks Or designated walking paths.

Awesome staycation

I live on Kauai but needed a larger home to host visiting family so rented this house for the week. We were so happy with our choice! The house was roomy, clean and comfortable! Our visiting family loved the home and had a great stay. Paula was such a good communicator, we had zero trouble and couldnt have asked for a better experience.

The house was perfect for my family and in-laws, great open spaces and enough roomfor everyone. The location was close to all of the places we wanted to go in Poipu and Koloa. Finally, the communication with Paula was great, always responsive. Thank you for the great place, will use again.

Great communication and kindness!

The owner, Paula, communicated with me with suggestions when planning the trip, info on the access to the house and, when my plans had to change due to an illness of my elderly parents, she was flexible and very kind and generous in offering me a stay at another time. My adult daughter and her husband did go and loved the house. We would definitely stay there again.

We were blown away with this place, so nice and clean inside and out. Open concept, and neighbor is great as well. Close to the best beach which is poipu. Definitely will stay here again when we comeback in Kauai. Btw owners are very nice as well. Reply to my text quickly when i have questions.

Like being at home

As a local kamaaina from Oahu, i am not into touristy hotels . This was a real sanctuary where you could CHILL with friends and family. Everything provided and well-appointed. Enjoyed my family holiday at “Paula’s Place at Poipu Paradise!” 🤙🏽

Great experience!

The house has a large, bright open space (kitchen/living room/dining area). It is EXTREMELY private, being located behind an ADU, and isn't easily visible from the street. The bedrooms are also air-conditioned, so if you come from an area with a cooler climate, you won't have trouble sleeping. The kitchen is well equipped and modern, with a full size refrigerator, gas range and oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, and dishwasher. There's also a propane BBQ grill just outside. This property also has a *full size* washer and dryer indoors, so you'll be able to wash and dry a full load of clothes and/or beach towels without having to split it into multiple loads because the laundry equipment isn't undersized like it is at some condos and rental properties!
