"I stayed at this hotel in Old Quarter, Hanoi for 3 nights and I have to say…it was really nice but also kinda funny in some ways. First, the location is absolutly PERFECT. "The place is alright. Staff are lovely, the rooms are quite well equipped, But the photos are a bit exaggerated. As long as you can take that into consideration you won’t be disappointed. The only unobscured Lakeview is from the rooftop. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. Overall, I would stay here again"

"It was my third time staying in Oakwood Residence Hanoi with my wife. First two times, 8 days, and this time 3 days. It’s my favorite hotel, course it’s clean, nice and helpful staff, big indoor pool (so I don’t get burned by the sun) with beautiful view, great gym, big jacuzzi and sauna. The rooms are really nice, with power plugs where you need them (many hotels only have one on each side of the bed). And the down pillows are the best.
