While our previous rental was not directly on the beach and didn’t offer ocean views, this stay reminded us how much those views and the convenience of beachfront access add to the experience. The ocean view was nice. Great sunrise, and if clear, an awesome moonlight reflection at night. Even though the cost was higher, it was well worth it. Just a short walk on the boardwalk to the beach. The townhouse itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and clearly built with quality. There are just a few items that need the owner’s attention:• The king mattress in the primary bedroom appears to be worn and sags in the middle. It may be time for replacement, as it has affected our quality of sleep. The mattress on the bunk bed on the bottom floor is worn as well. • The cookware could use updating, as several pieces are showing their age. However, stocked very well. The Deck furniture could use a couple more chairs.Sounds a bit too negative but overall, the property, location, and service were outstanding. We had a 4 and a 2-year-old, so you got to watch them on the deck area. With our larger group, having a much larger gathering place. The deck with a table would have been nice, but the deck is too small. Kiawah's golf is way too expensive at 260 per round. The resort price is 180, and it should be the same for all. Freshmarket Center is very close. You've got to eat at Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill. We were there twice! Habachi bowl!
