After travelling around in Thailand we can say this about AVA: one of only two places with a functioning a/c and comfortable bed. The statement includes upscale hotels and flats. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff. Awesome room. Only downside is that the cleaning of the rooms generally does not include vacuuming, though the hotel is located very close to the beach. Crazy expensive laundry service.

Populære steder at besøge

This is a lovely beach to relax and swim at. Kantiang beach is definitely one of the cleanest beaches that we have seen in Thailand. We were fortunate enough to see why the beach was so clean. The local workers from the Pimalai Resort and Spa spent sometime from work cleaning up the beach. I wish other locals and hotels would do the same to help the pollution issues that the beaches and seas are facing here in Thailand as well as around the world. It also looked like a great team building experience. You can find this beach on the way to the Southern most point of Ko Lanta.

Cost of the entry is not so expensive and you'll be free to relax on the beach, to practice some outside yoga or to hick the forest or the rocks by walk, all the day. Be careful from the monkeys which are freely walking in the Park, but which can become a little bit agressive if you stay to close from them. #beachbound
