Great place to stay in Keswick
Had an amazing stay. The BB is beautiful and the service was great- really making everyone feeling welcome. Would for sure recommend and return.

Mark who we met on arrvial could not have done anymore to assist us whiles we were there. It’s by far the best B&B me and me partner have stayed in. Easy parking and a 10 minute slow walk into keswick. We'll be back again!!

The proprietor was so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and he explained everything very clearly. The hotel was decorated to a high standard and there little extras such designer coffees for guests to make themselves in addition to fresh home made cakes. There was also a fridge in one of the lounges to store food and drink. Another lounge could be used to play games or listen to music. Breakfast was pre ordered and make as you enter the dining room. It was delicious and so much choice. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Beautifully decorated and furnished guesthouse, with wonderful views. The hosts extremely welcoming and helpful and breakfast was top notch. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely love this place!!! The views from our room were amazing, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, walking distance to Keswick town center, the rooms were very clean and updated, the staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the amenities and little touches helped make our stay perfect. Would definitely stay again and again!

We travel a lot and this was honestly one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Starting with the warm welcome from Rika, we loved everything about this beautiful home from home. The views are stunning, rooms are very comfortable and everywhere was spotless and newly decorated. Breakfasts are the only meal offered here and they are outstanding, with lots of choices. Beautiful views from the dining room too. We appreciated all the extra touches, like two nice lounge areas and tables and chairs on the patio, and provision of coffee and cake, plus glasses and a fridge in the lounge, should you want to bring your own drinks. Most B&B’s seem anxious for you to clear off after breakfast and not return till nightfall. At the Grange, you are encouraged to stay and make yourself at home. What really sets it apart are the people who run the place and make you feel like an honoured guest. It’s no surprise that so many people staying there are returning customers. It’s a 15 minute walk down the hill into Keswick, and access to the lake and many great walks, as well as all the town has to offer. It was nice not to have to worry about parking in town. We had some great dinners (Fellpack Kitchen is wonderful), went to the theatre and cinema, and really enjoyed our time in Keswick. Looking forward to returning and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else but the Grange. Highly recommended

This was our first visit to this B&B in Keswick having been coming for over 25 years, but was the best so far. Excellent accommodation, exceptionally clean with the staff amazingly helpful and polite. Great Cumberland breakfasts overlooking Catbells. Will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous B&B in Keswick. 10 minute walk in centre so in a perfect location. Ample free parking on site. Staff were all lovely and friendly. We stayed in room 8 and it was a really good size and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked to order and also a selection of fruit, yogurt etc to help yourself too. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent and a top class hotel
Everyone is so friendly and helpful and they made us feeling very welcomed , the breakfast was superb and you were greeted and served by a lovely happy polite waitress and the room was clean and bight with beautiful views of the mountains and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

The staff are warm and helpful, the breakfasts are fantastic, and the property itself is uniquely beautiful. Conveniently located via bus or walking to the city center. Wish I could have stayed longer!

The entire experience was great. I was on room 2 which had a nice big bath with a handheld shower. I'm a shower person, but for those that enjoy the bath this would be a big plus. The staff and the breakfast were both excellent.

Definitely recommend!
We came back here for the second time. It's perfectly located at the top of Keswick , with a beautiful view over the town and the mountains. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with fresh and very high quality produce

Excellent short break
From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. Service and comfort were both far better than in hotels who charge significantly more. Breakfast was excellent. Coffee and cakes were available during the day as part of the deal. We loved it and will definitely go back!

Very helpful hosts - provided information which was needed, and thought forward which is always good news. Excellent breakfast and wonderful views from my bedroom and the front terrace. Wish I had stayed longer to relax in the place. Several comfortable public rooms so you are not confined to your bedroom if you want to read.

Exceptional Find For A Great Vacation!
We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this bed and breakfast! The staff was very friendly and professional throughout our extended stay. Breakfast was a highlight of the day with great, quality food and a wide selection of items to choose from. The condition of the facility lets you know that they take great pride in how they take care of the building and their guests. Rooms and en-suite bathrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. The location close to Kessick makes it easily walkable to town with access to many trails near the lake. We would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to others!

Hi Elizabeth, so sorry you werent happy with your room, it is described as single or small double so I feel we are pretty up front about that. 103 peak season per night for sole occupancy including breakfast and VAT. I think that is quite fair.One of the pretty new chairs we bought, has unfortunately scratched the wall - its a bit hard to cover that up in the middle of the season, but you are right - not good enough there. I will get Mark up there with a paintbrush tout suite. (but then next guest will prob not like the smell of the paint...hmm decisions...)I do wish you had mentioned this to us at the time as we might well have been able to do a room swap.
