ABSOLUT OceanFront tre etagers hus med fantastisk panoramaudsigt. Første sal har stue, spisestue og køkken, der åbner til en overdækket veranda med udsigt over havet. Køkken har viking komfur og frost køleskab / fryser. Der er et soveværelse og fuld bad også på denne etage. Anden sal har Master suite med jacuzzi badekar m / havudsigt og dobbelt håndvask. Denne suite har en stue med panoramavinduer og få store Sunrise synspunkter. Der er to andre soveværelser på denne etage med en delt bad. Den øverste etage har et soveværelse, badeværelse og vildt værelse med fladskærms-tv og digitalt kabel, pool bord og sovesofa & våd bar med åbent dæk. WiFi og 9 TV. Vaskemaskine, tørretumbler, gas grill og håndklæder inkluderet. Cell Phone tjeneste er begrænset i nogle områder af Wild Dunes. Rygning forbudt. Ingen husdyr. Elevator & pejs IKKE til rådighed til brug under nogen omstændigheder.

The only issues we had were there were no extra garbage bags and no salt that we could find. The whole building needs general updating, but it was clean and we loved the location.

Three floors and perfect space for our 10 member family. Great to be able to take our beach supplies to beach and leave all day. Had only two maintenance issues and were taken care of in minutes. So helpful and polite. Hope to rent again.

The overall appearance of the main living floor could use some updating and cosmetic improvements. When we first arrived the first floor had some ac issues and the property management was prompt in addressing the issue.

The views from the first floor are unmatched. The bathroom to bedroom ratio was great for multiple families. We also enjoyed having the game room. Agree with other reviews that some areas of the house are dated but it would not deter me from recommending this house. Would definitely rent here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying here. The view is fantastic and you can’t get any closer to the beach. Just a few steps out the back and you’re at the dunes. Five bedrooms and the master BR is gigantic with lots of windows. There were nine of us staying there, including three teenagers, and we had plenty of space for each other. Other reviews will say the furniture is outdated and the house needs some repair let me tell you this was a non-issue. The furniture was comfortable, and the repairs that are needed are cosmetic. I would gladly be this close to the beach at this price instead of being concerned about those issues. We’ve been to Wild Dunes several times and stayed at different places. We’re coming back here next time. You can’t beat the space, view and location at this price.

Island Realty was nice and professional from the time I got the text to come by to pick up the keys and packet for check-in to the checkout. The process was so easy. The house was perfect for our NYE gathering. The only issue I say that people should know is that if you have problems with lots of stairs this may not be the type of setup especially if you have members that are elderly or have disabilities. The house has an elevator but not for use. The furniture on the top floor is dated, but it's enough seating for sure up there, but beautiful views. The refrigerator I read people had issues with it. What I don't think people realize is that the freezer is down at the bottom and the refrigerator part is up top. Found that out the next day when my veggies were frozen along with some drinks... LOL

Spacious Beachfront Home with Stunning Views, but Needs Update.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family recently stayed at 9 Summer Dunes Ln., which was large and roomy, accommodating all eleven family members. The access and view to the beach were phenomenal, and the sunrise over the ocean was breathtaking, guaranteed to wake you up in the morning. The nearby city of Charleston provided excellent shopping and touring opportunities.The kitchen was spacious, featuring a high-capacity refrigerator and freezer, and we found the Viking stove/oven delightful to use. However, be aware that there are no cleaning supplies or spices provided, so you'll need to bring or purchase those. The grill was of good quality and very clean, perfect for our couple of meals. Cooking and dining in the house were enjoyable, with plenty of space to accommodate everyone. Everyone enjoyed using the pool table upstairs during downtime.Overall, the place was clean, but there were some issues. The bathroom drains and jacuzzi tub needed a thorough cleaning, the air vents were extremely dusty, and the artificial plants in the kitchen were also quite dusty. Despite this, all the linens were very clean. We encountered a few maintenance issues during our stay, but the staff at Island Realty were responsive and did their best to resolve them.The house features four full bathrooms, with towels limited to about three sets per bathroom. Extra towels are available for a fee from the management company. Located in the Wild Dunes resort, the house offers access to chair/umbrella and bike rentals. All the bedrooms were comfortable, though the furniture in the living areas was very worn and in need of replacement. The shower in the master bedroom was extremely small and outdated.The Wi-Fi was weak and inconsistent, making it challenging to do any work from the house. The TVs were antiquated, with the master bathroom being a tube TV. Given the many other options available at a similar price point, we would likely look elsewhere for a more updated and and well-maintained property.

The location was great, like something from a movie, but further from restaurants and stores. The house is very big, but dated and in need of some care. Beautiful porches to sit on but very uncomfortable chairs. Light bulbs burnt out. Cranks removed from windows so you couldn’t open them. Dead insects in windows, sand under throw rugs not cleaned up. The garage door spring fell apart trapping our car and the door was so bad panels started to fall apart when maintenance tried to lift it. Had to get garage door company to remove the door the next day. The rental company was very responsive to my calls for help.

Unfortunately we found that the house had more cons than prosPros- Great location. The house was in a quiet part of Wild Dunes and access to the beach could not have been better. It was also nice to have a shower in the garage to rinse the sand off our feet before going in the house. Cons- outdated and worn out furniture in the living area. Also there was not enough seating in the living area - outdated furniture on the top floor. The top floor also had more furniture and seating than the main living area however we had elderly family members that did not want to climb all the way up there.- there was an elevator at the house however it was for maintenance only and off limits for guests. This would have been great to have access to this.- the purple bedroom on the 2nd floor had a couple huge issues. The breaker kept tripping when turning on the lights and the TV in that room would not work. It would turn on however the tv would not play anything. - the Wi-Fi was terribly spotty and the couple staying of the top floor said that it would not connect to that floorMy family and I said that with a few updates and resolving the issues it would be a great house for any family to stay at.

There is bedding & towels, but not enough towels. Other than that there is minimal toilet paper, only one roll of paper towels, no cleaning supplies & no small conveniences such as salt, pepper, tin foil, etc. Additionally, as a beach house you would assume you are getting chairs & coolers with the house, but you do not. I wish this was stated somewhere so we could have been more prepared.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were blown away by the 180 degree views when we first arrived. The location is great. The beach is wide even at high tide. We enjoyed Wild Dunes. It was a beautiful area to walk and bike around. The rental company was excellent and very responsive when we had a stopped up bath tub. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fine with the exception of the small tubular master shower. We used other bathrooms to shower. The living room and bonus room furniture were just very dated and rather uncomfortable. Only about 5 people could sit in the living room of a 5 bedroom house. We had to bring in dining room chairs to accommodate more people. There was one old lamp and no window coverings. It was like being in a fish bowl when the sun went down. The kitchen appliances were dated but functional. We had to purchase hot pads and dish towels. Stove top worked well. The oven did not as it took longer to cook things. We would rent again from Island Realty. And would stay in Wild Dunes as well. We will not be returning to 9 Summer Dunes Lane. If the owners do not care enough to properly furnish the main living areas, then we choose to not stay at their beach house.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms.Island Realty was very helpful with the following problems. No towels/ no potholders/ no dishwashing and laundry detergent/ no set of measuring cups for the kitchen. Owner needs to have property ready for occupancy at $1000+ per night. There is a sense of carelessness about the upkeep of the place. Some things are great like the refrigeration units while the grill is ancient and ready for the Smithsonian, for example. WE had to buy a lot of stuff that should have been provided. Bottom line the owner needs to put some money into the place or reduce what they are charging. The lady who helped us with the problems was surprised that minimum standards were not being met. Clif Fenton

The large kitchen was great for preparing meals and there was plenty of table and counter seating for everyone. As others have noted, the home could use some updates, but you absolutely cannot beat this home if you like to spend time with family and friends, enjoying a sunrise, full moon or thunderstorm. Mother Nature did not disappoint during our stay! Island Realty provided quick response when we had minor issues with a door lock and dishwasher. Highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Walking into the house takes your breath away. The views from the living room and porch and unmatched to anywhere else we have ever stayed in our 15 years of staying on Isle of Palms. There are no buildings in your line of sight to the front or left of the house giving you amazing 180 ocean views. The rest of the house, particularly the bathrooms and kitchen appliances, all appear to be from the 1980’s. Thing worked (except the washing machine which was relaxed while we were there) but the house is just outdated. If you don’t care about the upgrades and only want a good ocean view then this is your house. With only 4 bathrooms is not ideal for multiple couples but it’s good for a family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am a regular visitor to IOP and have been for many years. This year I took my 3 adult children and 1 spouse and chose this house initially because there were no twin beds. However, the house was an amazing backdrop to a wonderful vacation. Everyone had a comfortable room and the kids loved the pool table on the rainy day we had. I love to cook so really appreciated the beautiful, well appointed kitchen I am already looking to make reservations for next year. My thanks to the owners.
