"This hotel is situated is a nice location for a visit to Traverse City - you can easily access many restaurants in 5-10 minutes drive and the beach is just outside your hotel room. The beach is very nice; actually a surprise considering I had no expectations of beaches on the great lakes having only spent times on Ocean beaches in the past. You can walk up and down the beach for a mile or more. Our room faced the ocean and allowed for nice mornings and evenings on the balcony. I would 100% stay here again. The breakfast is different from other hotels. You are given a choice of 4 boxes that are delivered to your room in 30 minute slots. Its a fine solution if you enjoy a smaller breakfast; but I could see where others might want a full meal to start the day, in which case this would leave some people wanting. The options we choose included: (A) Donut, Fruit, OJ and Water (B) Sausage Egg and Cheese sandwich (put it in the microwave), Fruit, OJ and Water The rooms were big and spacious and more importantly, CLEAN! "
