"What a gem! They say location, location, location, and this is it! A wonderful 24hr supermarket across the street, a 5-minute walk to Leblon Beach, a great restaurant street just around the corner and to top it off a very safe location and really attentive and service-minded staff. Couldn't have picked a better hotel for our extended New Years Eve weekend in Rio! Reasonably priced as well! I do have to point out the street noise though as a concern. It is an issue and as the owner of the hotel I...

"The location is great where there is a grocery store across the street & your 5 minutes walk to Copacabana Beach. You're also close to the metro station. The hostel is very clean. There are stairs to enter the hostel. It can be loud outside as you're on a busy street, but you're in a central location. The hostel has 2 bathrooms & sometimes individuals will spend time changing in there, doing their make up and you'll have to wait to brush your teeth. I don't know if you can tell people what not...

"It is absolutely a beautiful unique house with a gorgeous garden… the room was very spatious and amazingly quiet. Communication was a little difficult breakfast basic and the room could be cleaner but it was my first visit to South America and am probably too much used to European standards"

"Great stay - special shout out to Patrick and Fabio at the reception (thanks for all you help) and Claudio at the rooftop bar for making the perfect caipirinhas and being so helpful and nice!"

"Did not like the fact that I sent an email explaining that my flight was cancel 18 hours prior to schedule arrival to the hotel. However, I was still charge for that day and was told to take it up with the airline. Upon entering the room it was not service. The bathroom was not cleaning, the soap dishes and commode were dirty. The green blanket on the bed was also dirty. However, my second night in the room the blanket was removed and replace with a clean one."
