"This was our second stay at this location. We loved it the first time, so when we saw it was available again, we jumped at the chance. Mike was great with communication, and everything was perfect! We used the fire pit every night; the kids loved the basement game room with pool table, foosball table and steel tip dart board. The location is on a quiet, secluded dead end road, so it was peaceful and remote even though it's just outside of Eagle Bay. Very close to all of the amenities of Old...

"Great place for relaxing at the lake. Plenty of room with a nice gas fireplace and outdoor fire pit. We moored our 19’ open bow boat at the dock and that worked great. Since it was September we didn't go in the lake, but I’d ask about beach usage before renting. Walkable to a couple restaurants. "

"Our kids and grandkids all meet up with us each February to ski Gore Mt. The cabin was perfect. The kids declared the hosts “so generous!!” as they leave snacks and a hot cocoa bar. The owner was accessible and responsive. Our poodles were welcome and we did not have to worry about their safety as we were waaaay off the beaten path! "

"A spacious house in a good location, 30 minutes from trailheads in Keene valley and 10 minutes from shops in Schroon. Paradox Lake is great for swimming, kayaking, and fishing; lots of wildlife--loons, heron, beaver, deer, heron, and even an eagle sighting. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi (even by the beach). Host was very responsive. Only significant negatives were the lack of an outdoor shower or hose to clean off sandy children and no lake-side access to the house."

"If you can believe it, the pictures do not do this place justice. It is an excellent property. Super welcoming and cozy with lots of space to accommodate everyone. My parents own a house down the lake so we mainly used this space for sleeping only but we had some teenagers with us and I didn't hear a thing while they stayed up late and I retreated to the upstairs area. Really, really great space. Thank you!!! "
