"Great calm location away from the busy tourist areas of Kyoto, very charming area with nice little shops, places to eat and coffee to enjoy. Staff is very friendly and help, the cafe at the hotel itself is great and has friendly prices too, there’s great coffee available (you have to and it yourself) freely in the skate kitchen. Would definitely stay here again "

"Really good hotel with easy access to it via subway from Kyoto Station. Located next to Kyoto Emperor Palace and in walking distance from Nijo-Jo castle and Nishiki area. Friendly staff and both continental and Japanese breakfast. Room were a good size and bigger than what we had tried before in Japan. If coming back to Kyoto we would stay there again."

"Det var et godt hotel med central placering til mange af seværdighederne i Kyoto. Det er tæt på metro og bus, som brugte til at komme rundt. Værelset var af fin størrelse for japansk standard. Hotellet havde dagligt shuttle bus til Golden Temple og bamboo forest, som gæsterne kan benytte. Rigtig høj service, altid behjælpelige med et smil. Det er hotel som vi glædeligt vil bo på igen. "

"clean and spacious room with hospitable staff in a central location (right outside marutamachi station). our room came with a washer dryer unit which was convenient even though we didn't get to use it! the hotel is also right across a family mart, mcdonald's and 7-eleven so it was really convenient."
