The staff seemed more interested in knocking off then respecting that guest chose this hotel while on vacation.
The first day, we were tired and never heard the knock for housekeeping. So when we did leave the hotel and returned late, we were surprised that we did not receive room service. The second day, we did hear the knock as we were getting ready to leave in the afternoon. We told the cleaning lady that we were leaving in 20 minutes.
We asked if she could come back when we left the hotel in 20 mins, her response was yes. We then received a call approximately 5 minutes later telling us that the cleaning staff were knocking off. We deferred having our room serviced for a second time. I did enquire at the front desk and was told that I could let them know what was a good time to clean. I have never had this experience before. Nonetheless, we agreed and asked that our towels get replenished and requested a 10:30/11:00a.m., cleaning.
The next day we get ready to leave early, despite wanting to sleep in and relax and decide to take advantage of the hotel restaurant, which was scheduled to close at 11:00 a.m. I was 11:46 a.am., when we exited the elevator. A lady was at the counter and was quick to inform us that the restaurant was closed and the grill had already been turned off. I asked her if she had anything that did not need to go on the grill.
