We had hoped to have a celebratory stay for my daughters college graduation. When you rent a VRBO you are thinking you will get a 'home' experience where you are staying. Unfortunately, that is not what this place provided. It was clean enough, minus a significant amount of animal hair on one of the beds, but also clear that this was just a money making opportunity for the company that owns the house. The communication was good, but the house was sterile and things like fitted sheets that were too small for the mattress, no extra towels or blankets, no books or games and hardly any kitchen materials made it feel like the owners didn't care for the place except for the bare minimum of cleaning it. It was not like any other VRBO we had stayed at and felt that saving money at a hotel would have been better than staying at this place again. There was construction happening next door that the host did not inform us about prior to the stay. They started at 8:00 in the morning and workers blocked the driveway a couple of times. When we told them about it, they apologized but did not offer a partial refund. The noise was significant and we ended up spending the days away from the house to avoid it. Over all, not worth the money they charge.
