Mind you we only stayed for a day in transit but I chose this hotel for its location and seemingly upscale rooms furnished with antiques. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Tet, lovely lobby and team and while the room did have some cute antiques…..it looked like a dingy old 2 star hotel the second we stepped out of the elevator. The hallway was open air and 2000 degrees, the ceilings terribly low, everything in the room looked old and worn out as opposed to upscale and kitschy cute, the “sofa” in the room is literally a slab of wood, the tub on the balcony looked so dirty and dingy like it was a sleezy motel in Las Vegas and there is only space to hang a couple garments and nothing else. Another not charming touch is the bathroom sink steps from the bed. My husband immediately said “thank god we aren’t staying here for more than the day”. I cannot speak to the roof top or restaurant as we didn’t go.
