"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "

"This Ryokan was fantastic! My wife and I stayed in the Seryo Ryokan for one night and were blown away by how nice and relaxing it was. We picked the private Onsen suite. Our room was the “Sakura” room which is a corner room with your own private garden, private onsen, and suite style room. The Kaiseki dinner was excellent and the breakfast was very good too. I will point out that dinner is rather early at 6 pm and although we were both full after dinner, we were craving additional food around 9...

"Upea pieni Luxury/boutiquehotelli, jossa koko asunto samassa! Upea ja fantastinen henkilökunta, apua sai aivan kaikkeen! Pesukoneelle oli käyttöä. Ainoa miinus oli että suuret ikkunat antoivat joelle, jossa satamäärin paikallisia ja turisteja hyppelemässä kivillä, et voi kulkea yöpuvussa verhojen ollessa auki! Upea japanilainen aamupala ja täydellinen design-keittiö japanilaisilla veitsillä ja viinikaapissakin hyvät juomat!"

"We were upgraded to a spacious and beautiful room where nothing was missing. The hotel itself is stylish, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed for four days while exploring Kyoto and especially loved the breakfast buffet — a perfect mix of Western and Japanese options. It was the best breakfast we had during our three-week trip in Japan!"

"Wonderful stay! Moksa is a such a pleasant place to be. "

"Everything was very nice, clean and good service. Spacious room, clean and in good shape. The beds were too hard for my taste. Also, the hotel is a bit far from central Kyoto. The next time, I will book another hotel closer to the center. "

"Lovely place, beautiful garden, cozy room and very kind and professional staff. I can recommend to add the positivity of using the hot bathtub on their rooftop as well."

"Yes, I made simple dishes, excellent coffee, and used the refrigerator. The clean and efficient kitchen had everything I needed."

"I didn't expect that it would be a whole house just for myself! The service was splendid, very polite and helpful. The house has everything you need, i.e. all the dishes. The interior is traditional and, very comfortable and nice."

"Super friendly staff! Located in a pretty convenient location. Room was clean and as much as you hope for. Recommended!"

"Super fint værelse, dejlig morgenmad, utrolig flink personale, centralt beliggende ligeved siden af shoppingcenter og station. Vi bor her gerne igen.

"Incredibile experience of staying in a traditional ryokan. Very calm/peaceful atmosphere and the most lovely staff. Our room had everything we needed however, no coffee machine. There was a cafe nearby though, and breakfast was delicious and included coffee."

"Steal of a deal for this spacious room. Hotel was spotless. Location was great as well."

"Ganske udemærket udvalg til morgenmaden. Et af de bedre👍"

"I stayed here for 3 nights, it was a very good place, the public bath is unique, breakfast is a Japanese with some western option it was amazing."
