Hitsujiyama Park

Hitsujiyama Park (羊山公園) in Chichibu has an amazing field of Shiba-zakura, or moss phlox. There are nine different types of moss phlox that cover over 17,000 sqm (4.3 acres) of the park. Not only is the scenery amazing, you can enjoy the sweet scent in the air as well! *They are usually in full bloom from late April to the first week of May. *The closest station is Yokoze Station or Seibu Chichibu Station on the Seibu Chichibu Line. There is an extremely steep hill on the way from Seibu Chichibu Station so if you're not up for that or have senior citizens in your party, definitely go from Yokoze Station. It's about 1.5 to 2hrs from Tokyo.

The walk from Seibuchichibu station to Hitsujiyama Park was soo sooo beautiful! With roads surrounded by endless rows of cherry blossom trees, they would soften even the toughest hearts.

Skønt beliggenhed i fredelige omgivelser i en fin park. Fantastisk service med shuttlebus fra og til Tokyo (mod gebyr), gratis til og fra Narita airport. Ligeledes fri shuttlebus mellem hotellet og Narita by samt et shoppingcenter. Naritas gamle bydel med templerne er et must. Hotellets restaurant laver velsmagende mad til rimelige priser. Hotellets værelser er ok - ikke luksus - men der er, hvad man behøver.
