**Sea Pines Rules and Regulations**

-Sea Pines Plantation prohibits all trailers, pop-up campers, motorcycles (including three wheelers), large-lifted pickup trucks, extended vans, vans with company signage (visitors in company cars will not be allowed in), work vans, golf carts, and RVs. Boats (prior permission needed), kayaks & surf boards (must be on top of car, no trailer), and large family vans. The only exception would be handicap accessible vans.
-Parking along roadsides and off driveways is prohibited
-Beach Club parking is not available, the Trolley system must be used to access the beach club. Trolley system does not allow passengers to carry large items such as wagons, chairs or coolers
-Vehicle Passes are limited to number of cars able to fit in each driveway, Passes are required to reenter Sea Pines when on a bike, in some cabs, and using Lyft. Try to carry your passes with you when you leave for reentry to avoid any difficult situations at the gate. Bikes can reenter without pass if they take picture of the daily door code posted when they exit.
-All animals in the plantation must be on a leash at all times
-Do not disturb the wildlife. Wild Animals live in Sea Pines, such as alligators and coyotes. Please be aware of this and do not interact with the wildlife.
-Beach parking is prohibited on all roads in Sea Pines. A complimentary beach shuttle service, direct from a designated parking lot to The Sea Pines Beach Club is available for Sea Pines weekly rental guests. *Must have Short Term Weekly vehicle pass issued by Sea Pines CSA.

The house was great. Had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked so we weren't needing anything in order to cook. For anyone looking for a house where you can watch golfers from the backyard, this is the house. We had my elderly parents with us and my dad loved sitting in the back yard each morning and watching the golfers on the green for the 3rd hole. It was great entertainment. The property management company for this house was very responsive and answered any questions quickly.

Beautiful, Clean, and Great Location

Our family of five enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! Check-in was a breeze, property was clean and well-maintained, and the location was cozy/quiet with an 8-minute bike ride through the adjacent golf course to get to the Sea Pines Beach Club. We appreciated the clean/comfortable beds, open floor plan, and well-stocked/modern kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!

The home is in a great location, and the kitchen was nice. However, the house was dirty....lightbulbs were out, the windows were filthy and the grill was too dirty to use. Sadly, we won't be staying there again.

John was very responsive and had outside power washed while we were there. Some furnishings are old and tired but kitchen and bathrooms are updated. Overall great vacation. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful one story home in quiet area of Sea Pines

We had a great stay! The house is beautiful, clean, and has almost everything you could need. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s a short bike ride to the closest beach path. We will be back!

Great location but some TLC needed

Our family stayed at 4 Tupelo Road, and really enjoyed the property location right on the golf course and being in the Sea Pines community. We had bikes delivered from Petals, which was one of our favorite things to do and we were very close to many restaurants via a short drive. With this property, you have access to the South Beach pool which was a bit of a drive and too far to bike. We did ask about the Harbour Town pool, but they no longer provide access there. The beach wasn’t too far if you try and get into the Sea Pines Beach Club but we were told you can’t park there and need to take the trolley over. Lots of learning what we can and can’t do. A downfall of this property was the cleanliness, as mentioned in other reviews. It could use a really good deep cleaning like lamps, tables, closets, pots/pans, and corners/floors. Maintenance was also needed in the master bedroom closet, where there was a hole in the shelving. My mom was afraid to use it thinking something might get in from outside. The outside area could use some clean-up as well. Lots of cobwebs and spiders and just needing of some TLC. But overall we had a great stay and enjoyed our time in Hilton Head.

Enjoyable and Relaxing

Just left after a week at Fore Tupelo which was most enjoyable and relaxing. The house is beautiful with plenty of room for our family (plus our 4 legged friend!). The house inside was very clean and comfy. Basic supplies were provided. The only negative that I would consider mentioning is that the outside grounds, guttering, etc needs some TLC. Sea Pines is beautiful, we felt very safe, loved the walking/bike trails and our living room view of the golf course!

Hilton Head Stay

The house looks likes the pictures, we had an issue when we got there because there was there was a water leak in the one bedroom and the floor was wet and where it was wet it didn't smell good. We did contact the owners as soon as we got there, and we were in contact most of the stay. My son had to sleep on the couch for the stay which wasn't the greatest because the living room is surrounded by windows. The owner was very nice, and we stayed over Easter, so it was a holiday, so we had to wait to have someone come and find and fix the leak. They got the leak fixed on Wednesday and then they had a dehumidifier to dry it out which is needed but I wish we were compensated for the inconvenience because we checked out on Friday morning. I understand these things do happen but whoever does the cleaning for them knew it was wet because she came back and said she knew it but needed a carpet cleaner not realizing there was a leak, but if we had the option we would of changed to another place just because the work did need to be done and we all didn't have our own beds. We made the best of it.

Lovely Home on 3rd Hole of Heron Point

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was well situated, beautiful living room and adjoining Carolina Room looking out over the 3rd hole green. We felt the outside/lack of clearing and tidying let the home down a little, which is a shame, because the home itself is lovely. We also found dishes and pots and pans that were not as clean as we would have liked and whilst that did not deter us from liking the home it did leave us with no choice but to give a 4 star rating to be fair to our other VRBO rentals. We would love to return to this property in the future and look forward to giving it a 5 star review next time.

Extremely Disappointing

We were two families, including a 10 mo old baby. We contacted the owner after arrival b/c the baby was crawling everywhere. His knees & feet were filthy from the floors. The owner got back to us quickly to say he would have sent a cleaning crew, however, we had pd only for 1 dog. True! His description read pet fee, NOT fee per pet. And, what did one have to do with the other? I offered to pay any add'l fee required. As we looked the home over it was just plain dirty. We will not be back.

Great Location but we had a few problems

Overall, the house is as it appears on the listing. It has a great location - right off the bike trail - and is walking distance to virtually everything in Sea Pines. If you're a fan of golf - great views onto the green. The issues we had revolved around what we were told was a problem with the Air Conditioning system that occurred sometime before our arrival. When we arrived, the main A/C vent was off the wall - leaving a large (2 foot & 3 foot) cavity in the wall near the floor. We needed to quickly find a way to put that in place so our dog didn't get swallowed by the wall. The master closet was in a state of dis-repair because the A/C crew had needed to rip open the wall and shelving to access the A/C drain pipes. Also, the 3rd bedroom was unusable because it had foul urine smelling carpet - and the odor in the room was unpleasant - and unbearable (you could smell it with the door shut - and it emanated into the hallway). The master closet (mentioned above) had similar odor issues - making it unusable. To be fair - the property manager was responsive to the issues we immediately brought to his attention and sent over a cleaning crew (Stanely Steamer) on Monday (which didn't resolve the odor issue) and, ultimately, removed the carpet from the room on Wednesday. We were offered a very small compensation for what the manager called "inconveniences". Any house can have issues. Our primary problems were the following: 1) These issues were known before we arrived - they should have either been resolved or communicated to us so that we knew what we were walking into and 2) The cleaning and carpet removal were very disruptive to our vacation - early arrivals by work crews and late notification of arrival time. Also, in the case of Stanley Steamer, the property manager was unable to be present - so we felt we needed to be there for the majority of the morning. Bottom line, these things shouldn't have been our problem. Based on what we saw while we went through this experience, it would appear that the property manager is resolving the issues for the future. It's just very unfortunate that we had to deal with these issues while we were there.

Sea Pines @ HHI

This was one of my most favorite rentals on VRBO! The house was warm and cozy, perfect for a couple or small family. The living area was open and spacious and surround by glass and light. Perfect view of the golf-course. Close to everything...food entertainment, shopping, activities. I definitely recommend this place to everybody. Hilton Head was great and the host, John Lambis was perfect!!

A well appointed home with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Very convenient location and we enjoyed the view of the golf course. A bonus to have bikes, beach chairs and plenty of beach towels. I would stay in this home again.

Our 2 weeks at 4 Tupelo in Sea Pines were wonderful! Great vacation with the family. The inside of the house was great and the view of the golf course was lovely. It was clear that the landscapers hadn’t come before our arrival causing a small negative first impression.
