Like cockroaches? I hate leaving a review like this, but after not getting any response from the owner, I must. Had I been warned, I would have avoided this property and had a much better vacation. On first entering and walking to the kitchen, we saw our first cockroach. I killed a handful the next day/evening and reported it to the text number on Saturday morning. They couldn't have someone out until Monday (our last day). Sunday was then awful, as I killed another 6. These were roaches wandering into the kitchen, living room, and even one in my bathroom! My family was completely disgusted and on edge--worried about going to sleep. This ruined the latter portion of our trip. I messaged the owner through VRBO and included pictures, but now 72 hours later, still no response. I travel to Florida and SC 1-2 times per year and I've even stayed in this Ocean One building before (different condo), so I know some bugs are expected, but this was a different level. Before renting this any further, the owner needs to invest time making small repairs throughout the house, cleaning or replacing the carpet, and most improtantly, addressing the utility room, which had dozens of dead roaches and was covered in their feces. There's water damage, loose panels, and other issues that are almost certainly the root of this infestation. Instead, they have just sprayed foam sealant around edges, which is a poor bandaid to this problem.
