  • Hilo Lagoon Centre is a noteworthy mid-century modern building in downtown Hilo. Our condo unit 814 boasts epic views of the Hilo lagoons, the Pacific ocean, and quaint downtown. We invite you to visit our tastefully decorated two-suite condominium for your vacation or work trip. Unit 814 has two bedrooms, each with an en-suite full bathroom. Both bedrooms have king sized beds, a dresser, walk-in closet, SMART TVs, and bedside tables with lamps. Both bathrooms have a vanity sink, toilet, and a shower (one bedroom has a bathtub/shower combo).

    The fully stocked kitchen is in the middle of the unit between the bedrooms, ensuring privacy. Cook locally found foods or reheat your fabulous restaurant leftovers. The kitchen is fully remodeled and has all the small appliances you'll need including a microwave, 12-cup drip coffee maker, toaster and blender. Every floor at the Hilo Lagoon Centre has a convenient laundry room (coin operated machines) for your use during your stay. Enjoy coffee or cocktails sitting on any one of the three balconies in the condo overlooking the lagoons. See if you can spot an infamous Nene goose in the gardens below!

    Hilo, Hawaii is the best kept secret town in our famed state. In the condo we provide you with a binder full of suggestions for activities, restaurants, tours and more to inspire your vacation. Planned to spend 4-nights in The Big Island and chose Hilo because of proximity to what we would be seeing/doing. This condo was a perfect base for our time on the island. Beds/pillows were comfortable, laundry (coin operated) was just across the hall, and even a coffee shop on the first floor. Easy communication with the host made for a seamless trip.

We loved this stay in Hilo. The apartment was excellent, very clean and comfortable, great for our family of 4. Bright and nice view from the balconies. The host was very welcoming. The location is very good as it’s not the middle of downtown, but still close to several restaurants by car. It has a nice coffee shop in the lobby, convenient for breakfast and an also convenient vending machine on the basement of the building. The pool area needs lot of improvement. Hilo is a convenient location to stay if going to Volcano National park and/or waterfalls and still having options for food. Overall I recommend the place.

Not quite walkable to the downtown tourist area but you could if you really wanted. Beds and showers were good and we appreciated the beach chairs to take out for adventure. Our only missing item to suggest they add is a coffee grinder in case you want to buy and enjoy some great island grown coffee!

Loved the condo. Clean, light and well furnished for our needs. A beautiful park view too. We had an issue with the neighbors above as we learned they have tile floors and the short term renter there was not aware the noise carried. It could be communicated better that if issues such as this occur to contact the security office for the building rather than the VRBO party. Lovely place and would be back aside from the above mentioned noise issue.

This is a nicely appointed condo for two couples to stay. It is squeaky clean! Lovely views of the lagoon. The host is very responsive too. We really enjoyed our time there and touring Hilo. Thanks for hosting us!

The hotel location was conveniently located for what we wanted to see. The decor of the condo was very tasteful. Loved the view from the lanai. Peaceful. Very clean condo and appreciated the cleaning tools on site to help maintain everything.

Perfect home base for our national park visit

This condo was a perfect space for our family — really pleasant and a great location both for expiring Hilo and then also hiking in Volcanoes National Park. Thank you for the comfortable and pretty home-away-from-home and for the very helpful tips about local attractions and restaurants!
