"I loved staying at Maggie’s studio in Hilo. It was really clean and spacious. There were plenty of parking and I like the usage of having a kitchen and the convenience of a washer and dryer. I would come back and stay here again the next time I’m back at the big island. "

The shower pressure was a bit low, and the property itself looked a little sketchy at first glance, but don't let that deter you. "Great private location, quiet and beautiful place to relax but close to activities. We cooked most of our meals there in the little kitchen which provided most of the essentials. The washer and dryer was perfect for our week stay. The room stayed cool with the extra fans. We definitelywill be returning. "

"We had a glitch with the lock but the owner was quick to respond to my phone call to give us the combo for the manual key, which I appreciated very much. The second bed was very small, the removable shower head line was leaking badly. The stove top and oven were dirty and the fan was also dirty. There was no complimentary coffee. "

"The complex where this unit is located is in need of some extreme TLC. Once inside the unit, the unit is just ok. It was comfortable for sleeping and the shower had good water pressure. The kitchen pans are in really poor condition. The pictures make it look nicer than I felt it was. We knew it was a studio but the kitchen had no space whatsoever. There were no chairs at the pool and it was not an inviting space at all. The unit will be fine for some, but for me, it was not worth the cost...
