"Superior room very spacious and decent spec."

"Room was a decent size with view over the river! Bed was very comfortable! Shower was poor, no real pressure! Lighting in the room wasn’t great! Restaurant was closed on both nights I stopped, not an issue as I wanted to walk and there is a decent pub(Schooner inn) not too far away!"

"Rigtig godt hotel til prisen, centralt placeret midt i Sunderland "

"First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left. We found the hotel lacked character, everything about it was functional and not interesting. This extended to the breakfast, our experience of which was behind not eating supper there. This is not a criticism of the hotel, it is my view. Based on reviews I expected a little more than we got....

"Room was incredibly dusty, no heating, vanity mirrors in bathroom didn't work, bath cracked. Staff were friendly and brought us a space heater however this didn't work either. Work up at 4.30am freezing Location is good, very quiet at night"

"Great location, with loads of parking in the area and really close to the station (handy to get to Newcastle) and the seaside. The room was alright, even though the bed wasn't exactly comfy, and the timed fan in the bathroom wasn't ideal at night. The best thing overall was the cafe, in which we went for all the three days. Hats off! The staff was amazing, and they could accommodate our...

"Room was good size and clean Use of the pool was good"

"The lady who checked in was so lovely, even took us to our room. Every member of staff asks if you need help finding anything and direct you to were you need to be. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast included in the room stay was 10/10."

"The Hotel location is fanstantis as it is close to restaurants. The Hotel reception need upgrading, completely We found it selfish of the Hotel to outsource its parking to a 3rd party - as we choose FREE parking in the Expedia filter. Guests like paying for all amenties direct, rather than to a 3rd party. Overall, it was okay, as it was a 1 night stay."

"Couldn’t fault anything, very welcoming, great room , comfy bed. Excellent breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Great location on the high street, and lots of info on parking, warming out etc. will definitely stay again on a next visit to Tynemouth."
