"I was pleasantly surprised about how upscale and beautiful the hotel was. The room was great with all the amenities and decor especially for the price I got.However there were some issues and my ratings shouldnt have been so high.
Someone nextdoor spent hours singing and talking on a phone in the bathroom and I could here it LOUD and clear, but on the bright side at 4am staff was there quickly to address.
I could have used a map or directory showing where the fitness room, ice dispensers,...

"Fantastic location, nice room, waterpreasure a bit on the low side.
It showed to be extreamly difficult to get a taxi at the hotel, and the hotel staff wasn't to much help."

Right across the river, right next to the Magnificent Mile, a short walk away from Navy Pier, and surrounded by great restaurants and convenient stores.
The pool on the fifth floor is spectacular and offers amazing views of the downtown skyline.
Moreover, the hotel is in a clean and safe part of the city.
Stayed there with two small kids, and had no problem roaming the neighborhood after dark.

Right across the river, right next to the Magnificent Mile, a short walk away from Navy Pier, and surrounded by great restaurants and convenient stores.
The pool on the fifth floor is spectacular and offers amazing views of the downtown skyline.
Moreover, the hotel is in a clean and safe part of the city.
Stayed there with two small kids, and had no problem roaming the neighborhood after dark.

However it’s not a quiet place for anyone who looking for a quiet sleep, I can hear so much noise at late night from my room on the back of the 4th floor. Checking was smooth, quick and good rate for a couple of nights in town."

"Rigtig god placering og hyggeligt gammelt hotel. Venligt personale. Fint lille fitnessrum.
Men det var næsten umuligt at få sit værelse gjort rent, lykkedes to gange på syv overnatninger, svært at få fyldt kaffe mm op. Morgenmaden var ikke særligt inspirerende, fint med frisk frugt, men ingen ost og friskt brød, kun hvide toastbrød, savnede havregryn/grød, surmælksprodukter og kogte æg, flere dage heller ingen cereals. "Had an awesome black friday week stay at this extremely well located hotel with old fashion cosy Chicago style. Pool at top floor was a big plus too! All staff were great but shout out to sweet n cute Vania:) who made my departure a little less painful haha.. I'll be cack soon! "
"Very, very nice hotel in the midst of everything. Nice rooms which delivers as promised. Especially the concierge delivered service beyond belief (sadly I don't remember his name).
The service by the hostess in the rooftop bar were horrendous - never experienced anyone looking so sad for being at work.
Sadly my experience were ruined a bit after coming home, as I felt overcharged by the final bill. I've been trying to get in touch with the hotel since, but have heard no response what so ever.
I cannot give a lower rating than I did, as the hotel overall was amazing, but this situation stops me from wanting to visit or recommend Pendry, regretfully.
