"Great little cozy pub. Hotel rooms are in a separate building this nice and quiet. Included continental breakfast was extremely basic thus almost necessitating extra purchases. The additional breakfast items ordered were great. Our advice would be either include a descent/sufficient breakfast even if it means to charge for it rather than including it, the current solution seems to be included to just get people in the door. "From our arrival to our departure we were made to feel very welcome, we had a lovely night's stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful and greeted us warmly. The food was exceptional, we had an evening meal and breakfast with timely service and attention to detail. We thought the whole experience of our stay was great and nothing was too much trouble. There was a Farmers Market on in the grounds when we were leaving which seemed to be going well and I'd imagine would bring in more...

"Absolutely great stay… called after booking to ask about check in as we were at an event in town and would be there before check in and maybe late back… could not fault the response from Brian and his team… absolutely superb service. Rooms are functional and represented excellent value for money. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. If you are after a no frills excellent value for money stay with friendly landlord then you won’t go far wrong. "
