We understood it was behind another home at the same address, but arrived after dark and could not find the street numbers. Did not expect to have to drive in the grass and through a gate. A sign or detailed instructions would have helped. "

"Whidbey House was a lovely property. A real home from home. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the visits from the deer and rabbits. Rick was very responsive with a couple of queries that we had. Freeland was a great base for exploring Whidbey Island, explore off the beaten track a little and you will find some real gems, we can recommend Island Art Glass, for some beautiful glass work. If we were staying in the area again, we would love to return to Whidbey House."
