Villaer i Greve in Chianti

"We were warmly greeted by the amazing house managers Daniele and Tracey who live in a separate home on property. They showed us the lay of the land and how everything operated. They took care of any issue however small quickly. Two of our daughters took a bedroom each within the main house and the third was happy to reside in the guest cottage by herself. There was plenty of room for everyone! My husband who is an avid cyclist rented a bike from a local shop who delivered and picked the bike up...

"This place was exactly what we wanted — a historic villa in the Tuscan countryside. The house was easy to find, and it is gorgeous — lovingly appointed and maintained. There are hints of its history, including a magical attic room with volumes of reference books. There are many cute towns and wineries in easy driving distance. Our hosts were amazing, responding immediately to any questions or needs. We all wished I had booked a longer stay. Highly recommend!"

"We (4persons) spent two wonderful relaxing weeks in this beautiful, peaceful place of soul and power in the middle of the Tuscan hills with a fantastic view of the Chianti landscape! Absolute peace and silence, a large garden with many different places, seating and lounging options, a nice pool area, pure relaxation in an old farmer house with a lot of charm and atmosphere. Unique! The beauty of this place is impressive and incomparable. The house is very tastefully decorated, old and new style...

"Lovely villa, clean , good amenities, good value for money The only thing I did not like was the location is a little too remote from the nearest town San Polo You had to drive down the hills on a very steep and winedy road as it is a 3 km walk to the shops and bar If you like to be secluded with peace and quiet, this is the place for you."

"Nous avons passé 1 semaine à 9 dans cette grande maison très agréable ! La piscine n'étant pas chauffée, c'était vivifiant de s'y baigner. Seul bémol, l'entrée en voiture se fait par un grand portail qui ouvre sur une forte montée. Il faut rouler doucement car il y a de gros trous dans la chaussée au niveau du portail."

"Our group of 13 - all family - rented for the week. It could not have worked out better. Some days a few of us would stay at the house instead of sightseeing because it was so lovely. Evenings were spent lounging on the terraces sipping wine and admiring the view which was fantastic. We had two dinners prepared for us in the home and both were deliciously memorable. I would recommend this place to everyone."
