The hosts were very kind, welcoming, & accommodating. I appreciated parking in the driveway, & the large dog crate in the bedroom! The rental unit is clean, the shower has great water pressure & the towels were nice and big!There were a few things that made our stay a bit less comfortable than I had hoped. The cats were smart to stay out of sight of my dogs, and the bunny was safely in a hutch. However, the chicken coop has an automatic door, so my dogs couldn't play & had to stay on leash for quick potty breaks during daylight hours. The yard is the entire reason I booked this unit instead of a hotel room, but it was very "lived in", with toys, etc scattered around. That wasn't as big a problem as the loose chicken.The description of the unit is not entirely accurate. It is not 2 bedrooms. It is 1 bedroom with a 2nd bed in the living room. Unfortunately, that means there is no sofa or any place to sit in the living room, except for on a bed or a strange bench settee thing. There were no table, or desk with chair for eating a meal or doing the work that I had brought. The wifi password was not provided in the unit. I had brought food to cook for dinners but could not find the cookware, paper towels or toaster that is in this listing, nor the convection oven & induction stovetop listed on another listing. Thankfully, a friend nearby provided dinners for me.My biggest concern was the inability to lock the rental from the outside for security while I was away.
