"Pros: Valerie is a kind host, and the property is in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever stayed. Cons: There is one shared bathroom on the first floor. There is no bathroom in the room, or the one next door which I saw when I found out that the dividing door was not locked. The pillows did not have liners in the pillow cases and were stained so we did not use them. The sheets had other people's hair on them, so we didn't use the cover sheets or blankets. "The location was perfect for our needs. Just walking around the neighborhood with amazing historic homes was a treat. Just a few houses down is the National Thoroughbred Museum which is a great find. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very accommodating to our requests. Would highly recommend."

"The Pratt-Smith house is like stepping back in time. The house is filled with memorabilia and Knick knacks that are from the past. Very fascinating to look at everything. There is a bit of a musty smell upon entering but the room had an air purifier and it smelled clean and fresh. The bed was not very comfortable but was ok for a one night stay.
