"Just stayed a wonderful week at this amazing property. Rented a car from Thompson-Honda fit ($330) for the week. That is all you need. You don’t need a Jeep. Trust me. We went every place on the island you can go and it was fine. Only used 1/4 tank the whole week and we were gone everyday. The Nixon house is perfect for a getaway. "This place was perfect for us to walk to store & also meet friends on the water. A few things need repaired but overall it was spacious for our family of 5. Landscaping is perfect. Staff & Nancy are delightful. It’s a little bit noisy with construction nearby, but fans help keep that to a minimum. Loved & brought extension cord recommendation from another family. Met lovely neighbors. Would stay here again!"

"Cornell was quick to respond and had great suggestions for food and places to go. This location was perfect for us, as we don't like a crowded area. The drive to and from Georgetown, when we went, was not bad at all. I love this place and woukd stay again. Do be aware that there are not any doors on the bedroom or the bathroom."

"Each morning I woke up, made coffee, and took it to one of the Adirondack chairs at the point, where you could watch the sunrise over Stocking Island. That was amazing. The room we had was delightful. It was simple, and bit older, but it was clean and had what we needed.
