"We had a wonderful time here watching the boats go in and out of the harbor, walking to a local seafood take out for lobster rolls, chatting with neighbors, and doing not much else. We would love to come back and stay longer next time. I would highly recommend this place to those who want to have some peace and quiet, read a book, or take a nap!"

The house itself was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably.The host was very responsive and easy to contact, which we appreciated.There were a couple of drawbacks worth noting: we had some trouble with fruit flies during our stay, likely due to the season, and the living room...

"This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended!"
