"The central location made getting to any sections of the park on MDI a breeze. Being set back into the woods while also close enough to walk to a playground and a few other little amenities was a nice bonus for our young family! Add in the well-equipped kitchen and overall cozy property and I can't imagine a better place to stay for our daughters' first National Park experience!"

"This townhome was perfect for us. It was very clean and I appreciated there was liquid soap, paper towels, coffee, etc. I debated between staying here or in Bar Harbor and we were all happy with Southwest Harbor. Much more relaxed and quieter than Bar Harbor. "

"Property was well maintained and check out, with no requirements, was amazing. We had yurt 8 which while the most convenient is right by the road. Luckily it’s not too busy but would have preferred to not hear cars driving by. Common space with a camp fire and games was great. A little far for groceries but otherwise a pretty central location for Bar Harbor and Acadia. "

"This place has a fantastic view! There is a huge yard right on the water with relaxing chairs. The patio has a picnic table and a great grill. The owners lived next door and had chickens and gave us a dozen really fresh eggs. The inside was clean and comfortable. New appliances and whatever you could possibly need. There were kayaking boats, oars and vests that the 19!year olds used. It was so much fun!"

"Great location on MDI. Easy to get to EVERYTHING and very little traffic. If you are looking for low key, cleanliness and a welcoming deer everyday, this is the place to stay. Definitely would stay again. Everything has been updated...could use a couple of rugs to soak up the sound while talking or watching TV. Can't beat the location!"
