"Located in the center of multiple tourist sites. Walkable locations for sightseeing, shopping, and food. Also walkable to local train station. Easy spot for taxi to pickup if needed transportation to kyoto station or somewhere further. Walkable to many kimono rental stores with next day drop-off return service. Perfect location for planning on visiting multiple sites and return here in-between for a quick rest. Did I forget the authentic ryokan style rooms with impeccable service? Recommended...

"I love the interiors of this hotel. A mix of modern and traditional design. It is quiet, you hardly see people around (which I like), yet the staff are there whenever you need them. Our room and the hotel in general is immaculate. This hotel also has an in-house bath and sauna at an additional cost. You can reserve these amenities at the reception. It was a great way to end the day after walking around sightseeing all day."

"The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay in Kyoto this fall. Walking distance to so many temples, gardens, steps from the Geisha district, shopping & restaurants. The pictures I saw on google maps of the street and immediate surroundings looked a little iffy, but it was just fine, and very quiet. The hotel was absolutely spotless and very comfortable; the staff fabulous, and the small restaurant well run with a very decent breakfast at a reasonable price. It is also only a short block...

"Absolutely excellent hotel. Staff are so welcoming, the hotel is super clean and modern. Great location to be in Gion, but equally close enough to others parts of Kyoto to explore on foot. A heads up that breakfast is hot drinks, juices and croissants, which was plnery enough for us. Thank you Miru Kyoto Gion for a wonderful stay, we will be recommending to friends and family."
