"I liked the convenience of my room right by the door where my car was parked, so no stairs. I didn't like that Expedia said that they have an indoor pool but they do not have one on-site. We were able to get a pass to use the pool at the Aspen Lodge down the street. Also the beds are terribly hard, luckily we were only there for one night."

"We really enjoyed our weekend here. Quiet and secluded, but still very close to Grand Marais. A path just outside accesses a whole network of trails, we hiked to Pincushion Mountain. And the SHT connects here as well if you want to go further. The furnishings are simple in a very nice way; a folding table with two folding chairs, an electric kettle and a mini fridge are great for morning coffee or simple meals. The only thing we would have changed would be trading the two twin beds for a single...
