"The hotel was clean and safe. The location was good and the free shuttle to St Armand’s was a nice bonus! However, there were a few issues - the room we had was in the Escalera tower and had an outdoor entrance and there was always a huge puddle in front of our door. Our door lock was very particular and we got locked out several times, the poolside amenities were not great - there was a volleyball court with no volleyball so we couldn’t use it. "No microwave, no room service, didn't empty waste baskets, asked for help with room safe, never came, visited area attractions...temperature was 102..returned with half-full bottles of water and Diet Coke and was forced to dump them. Only real positive was a luggage handler named Ryan...very polite, efficient, and most helpful to my lady friend who is disabled and has difficulty walking."
