A lovely retreat cabin in the woods. Good location for visiting the Cherokee National Forest. Appreciate being able to bring our dog. Everything was comfortable and worked as it should. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

Beautiful little cabin right by everything! Jack was super easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again. It was super clean super cozy super peaceful thank you.

Did a two night stay! Was a great spot, very clean and pictures are exact. Bed was comfortable and cozy. Will definitely book again when I come visit Southern Illinois again.

Pros: quiet little cabin, tucked just inside from a street. Clean & cozy. Cons 1. Mattress: It was too soft & saggy in the middle. Another reviewer mentioned this too. I wasn't able to get a restful night's sleep. Either my knees or neck would be sore in the mornings 2. Not enough brightness / lights: The interior feels dark - with an okay ceiling light, where 1-2 if the bulbs would slowly go dim as tine went on. Kitchen light was brigther.

The location was fantastic. The listing states sleeps 4 with a pull out couch. We pulled out the couch and the bed was dirty and there were no blankets for this bed. Also there were only 2 towels in the bathroom. For these reasons I can only give it 3 stars.
