True Bali
We were thrilled to have stayed in this Villa for a month. It is beautifully located in the northern part of Bali, right on the beach. The Villa itself is great - lovely garden and pool, which we enjoyed everyday. The true treasure of this Villa is the staff. Ayu and Epi were amazing cooks. They were always prompt and extremely personable. They did a great job keeping everything spotless. We loved getting to know them! Juta our driver was so wonderful. He was available at all times to take us wherever we wanted to go. Driving in Bali is crazy, so having an extremely competent driver is essential. We had a few places in mind that we wanted to see, but he suggested and took us to places we would not have thought of. He’s always in a great mood and he really made things fun. Do yourself a favor and stay here. It’s a great combination of R&R and exploring Bali. What a beautiful island !!!

Wonderful villa in north Bali
Just returned from a lovely week-plus at this property. It is lovely and just as described in the listing. The staff were wonderful - Sepi and Ayu are great cooks and went above and beyond making our stay great. Our driver Jutta was a wonderful guide and had great ideas for places to go. He acted almost like a concierge, arranging reservations for us as well.

The best way to experience Bali
Our stay at Karin's villa was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of "being home" after our daily activities, Ayu and Sepi (The cooks) were wonderful, communication was excellent from start to finish, and hiring Juta(The driver) for the two weeks - worked out perfectly.

We had a great time - place was as described and we were well looked after. I asked a bunch of questions before we got there and the owner was quick to respond with really good comprehensive answers. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. The girls looked after us so well we did eat out but they cooked breakfast the whole time we were there and many dinners - all good . We had a driver the whole time we were there (Jutta) I highly recommend him and having a driver. We used the villa as a base and spent nights in Ubud and the south etc . If I come back to Bali I will come here again .

The best you could wish for
The long drive from the airport to the villa is worth every second. For a relaxing holiday the location is perfect along with the staff. Everyone connected to the villa could not do enough for us. A special mention to Ayu who cooked the most amazing food and was extremely attentive. We booked a year in advance and Karin the host was extremely helpful throughout. The whole experience of the holiday was superb and we would highly recommend this villa you will not go wrong.

Wonderful staff but a few issues
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were SUPERSTARS and really help make the trip memorable. The location is quiet and remote which suited us perfectly. We knew that it was a long trip from the airport but definitely worth it. The villa facilities overall were very good but there were a couple of areas that were disappointing. We were not informed of building work ongoing in the adjacent plot. This can obviously happen but it would have been appreciated to know this is advance. The noise was minimal, however, the builders can see into the outdoor shower room in one of the bedrooms. This was not ideal and prevented us from using it. The villa advertised satellite TV however this did not exist. Not a major problem but inaccurately described. We would stay here again but mainly as a result of the friendly staff.

Hello Steven, I always like to hear when our guests have had a pleasant stay and we do everything we can to ensure that. They are indeed superstars and I am very proud of the beloved team. I am shocked by the comment that the workers on the neighbors' roof could see into a bathroom two plots away, I wish I knew this because then I would have solved it immediately during your stay, we will solve this right now with mature plants. Apologies for this, I wouldn't have liked this either. It will be resolved immediately. Fortunately the work on the roof 2 plots further on is almost finished. I can say on behalf of everyone that we would love to see you again, you were also very nice guests, which is also appreciated by all of us. Super Urlaub
Sehr gut Organisierter Aufenthalt, das Personal hat uns einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt beschert. Ayu und Sepi haben leckeres Essen serviert und das Haus sauber gehalten und auf Wunsch gab es auch eine Massage (€), Juta der Fahrer brachte uns überall hin und hatte auch sehr gute Ideen was man sich ansehen und besuchen kann. Leider war der weg zum Ziel manchmal sehr lang... ;). Buddi der Organisator im hintergrund löste Probleme und betreute das Anwesen so dass wir uns immer shr wohl fühlten. Gerne wieder

Simply paradise
The property was simply stunning. Located in a quiet village directly on the beach. The staff was a dream come true. If you are fortunate enough to be awake before sunset, you will want to walk to the back beach and watch the sun rise each morning. It is breathtaking. The colors are unreal; the quiet and stillness, and sound of the ocean all remind you of your good luck to be in Bali. The fishermen all bring in their catch at night with sounds of celebration. The ladies that tended to the home and prepared all of the dishes felt like family. They payed attention to every detail and were incredibly thoughtful and pleasant. The home was immaculately clean, the dishes prepared were so delicious, and the massages and pedicures are definitely a must-do! The driver, Juta, knew everything about the island. He knew the better places to go and the best time to be there in order to avoid the crowds! From sunrises over the mountains, to temples, to waterfalls, to traditional Balinese dancing, to recommending the best tattoo artist on the island…. he took me on the most amazing adventures and ensured that my trip would leave me with memories that lasted a lifetime. The manager of the home was incredibly responsive and kind. He was able to negotiate the best pricing while booking for us. He was in constant communication with the staff. The security men were welcoming- and very active with patrolling the property. I have already rebooked for next year!

Great quiet vacation spot, a jewel in the Nord of Bali
If you are looking for a quiet perfect place to spend your holidays, away from the tourists, this is the place to be. Great house, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (outdoors) kitchen, outdoor dining and sitting area, private pool and a well maintained garden. View and sound of the ocean in front of the property. Relax and calm down from everyday stress. Two fantastic Ladies (Ayu and Sepi) will prepare fantastic meals, with local fresh food daily purchased at the local market. You decide how much or how little you want them to prepare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will cook the meals, serve it and even wash the dishes at the end. Once you’re done with the dinner, they will leave you for the night and arrive the next morning to prepare your favorite breakfast. French Toast, Omelets, Scrambled eggs with toast and the fresh fruit. No Duran, sorry, but sweet pineapple, delicious papaya, snake fruit as well as dragonfruit, just to mention a few. Try their spring rolls, cap cay, fresh fish and of course nasigoreng. Rooms are cleaned everyday and the spa treatments are very affordable and a must. All done in house, you just relax and enjoy. Budi, the property manager will welcome you with the rest of the staff and is always at your service. Our driver for the entire stay, Juta, loves to take you around and is a real champion driver. He will take you anywhere you want and was a real champion driver. All in all, a wonderful place to spend your holidays. A+

Stunning Relaxation
Probably this has ruined future vacations for ever. The villa is amazing, the view of the ocean is awesome. The pool managed to always be exactly the right temperature any time of day or night. And the best part is the staff. Sepi and Ayu cooked wonderful meals and did all the cleaning. They also do massages, manicures, and pedicures, all of which we experienced and thoroughly enjoyed. Jutta, our driver was extremely nice and added a wonderful local flavor to our exploration around the island. Couldn't recommend this villa more!!

Wonderful Stay
My husband and I spent a week here on our honeymoon. I would definitely recommend spending time in the north if you would like some quiet and relaxation. We did use the services of Jutta the driver and he was able to recommend great places to take us. Ayu and Sepi were wonderful cooks. Budi and Karin ensured we had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful memorable stay, we will be back!

traumhafte Villa mit rundum Service
Meine beiden Söhne (beide über 18), mein Mann und ich haben traumhaft schöne 10 Tage in der Villa verbracht. Die Villa bietet all das, was in der Beschreibung und durch die Fotos versprochen wird. Wir hatten 24/7 einen Fahrer. Er und der Manager waren immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns sehr gut beraten, was Ausflüge betrifft und diese auch perfekt für uns organisiert. Danke !! Ayu und Epi sind zwei ganz liebenswerte Angestellte, die jeden Tag für uns früh, mittags und abends gekocht haben. Wir konnten uns einen Tag zuvor wie in einem Restaurant aus einer sehr umfangreichen Menu-Karte die unterschiedlichsten Gerichte aussuchen. Außerdem bieten sie Massagen, Maniküre, Pediküre und unser Favorit: Gesichtsmaske mit Avocado. Auch wenn wir ursprünglich viele Ausflüge vor hatten, haben wir vor Ort entschieden auch einige Tage einfach nur in der Villa zu relaxen und den Pool mit Blick aufs Meer zu genießen. Alles in allem war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub. Alle dort haben das Herz am rechten Fleck und das hat die Villa für uns zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Danke an alle Nicola

Great Holiday
What a wonderful time we had at Villa Bima Sena. From the initial contact with Karin, the owner, until we left with hugs from Ayu and Sepi everything was great. We wanted a place where we had no restraints on relaxing and this was the spot. Because of Ayu’s and Sepi’s cooking we never left for meals. Delicious! We can’t wait to return. Thank you, Karin.

Just amazing!!
We are a family of 4 plus Nanny and we had an Amazing time!! Sepi and Ayu are so kind and really went the extra mile to make our stay the best it could be. Besides that their food was amazing!! We did the boat trip to watch dolphins and it was a great experience. Jutah our driver took us to a snorkeling spot, temples, waterfalls, hot waters, shopping…so lots of entertainment. The drive from the airport is a bit long, around 3 hours and a half, but it totally worth it. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, the garden and specially the massages at a really low price!! We are deffinilly coming back!! Thanks a lot to all the team :)

Tranquil retreat from the crowds
We totally enjoyed our stay here. It in a beautiful location right on the beach… and is exactly as you see it online. The pool, garden and house are super well maintained snd the staff cooked us every meal foreshore daily. They couldn’t have been more attentive or kinder. The dolphin watching trip was the best I’ve ever done… so many dolphins… and a sublime view as the sun rose over water. I would highly recommend staying here. Louise Rippert Australia

The home was amazing. The food was great. The girls were attentive and on point. The driver was awesome. He brought us wherever we wanted to go and even suggested other places including restaurants that were amazing. Overall the experience was great. Wir waren drei Wochen in der herrlichen Villa von Karin. Danke an die zwei Engel, die täglich für uns phantastisch gekocht haben, auch im Handumdrehen waren die Zimmer geputzt und die Betten gemacht. Danke auch an Jutta und Budi die uns immer gute Tipps für Touren gegeben haben. Es war Urlaub vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag. Wir haben entschieden bald wieder zu kommen. Nos avons passe des vacances de reve dans cette villa magnifique. Nous avons ete chaleureusement acceuilli par l equipe de la villa et bichonne pendant tout notre sejour. La villa et le jardin sont encore plus beaux en realite que sur les photos. La cuisine de Aya et Sepi est delicieuse. Je conseille aussi les massages.. La villa est idealement situee, loin du tourisme de masse. Tranquilite guarantie! Nous conseillons de louer une voiture afin de profiter au maximum des tresors de Bali. Jutta notre chauffeur a ete exceptionel. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location et nous prevoyons de revenir l annee prochaine!

Best place we've ever stayed 😊
Can't put into words how amazing this property and staff are. We experienced above and beyond service, and the villa was beautiful. A big thank you to all. This property is right on the sand of the beautiful Bali Sea. The large, very comfy cabana sits right above the sand, with amazing views. It was the perfect place to have a massage, a cold beverage, or a nice nap. Juta was our full time driver, he was always on time, and always with a hearty laugh and smile. He picked up my husband one morning in a boat, right in front of the villa. Off they went on a fishing adventure. They saw a beautiful sunrise, and even caught some fish:) The darling young ladies, Sepi and Ayu took such good care of us, they were always cooking delicious meals. We didn't want to eat out because their cooking was exceptional. They were both very cheerful, organized and always on time. They also gave us the most relaxing luxury facials, that included an arm and neck massage. We liked the facials so much, we had 2 in one week! Very highly recommended. We will definitely be back. We've travelled many places. I have to say, staying at Villa Bima Sena was the best vacation experience we've ever had. 5 stars and beyond!

Fantastischer Start
Rundum Sorglos Paket. Sehr schöne Villa DIREKT am Strand mit sehr schönem Garten und Pool, welcher zum relaxen, meditieren oder was man sonst machen möchte einlädt. Die Besitzerin Karin waren steht’s bemüht alle Fragen per WhatsApp zu beantworten. Auch der Kontakt zum Personal vorab, war problemlos. Empfang wie im 5 ⭐️ Hotel, mit Blumenkranz und erfrischenden, wohlriechenden Tüchern. Um das leibliche Wohl, wurde sich nach eigenen Wünschen bemüht. Der Garten und Pool wurde täglich in Schuss gebracht vom freundlichen Gärtner und zur Nacht war man beschützt durch Security Personal. Nein, wir hatten nicht das Gefühl das es eine Gegend sei, in der man auf der Hut sein müsste. Aber die dortigen Besitzer schlafen auch ruhiger, wenn diese wissen ihr Eigentum ist beschützt in deren Abwesenheit. Unser Fahrer Jutta war steht’s pünktlich, wartete geduldig wenn wir einkaufen waren oder uns etwas angesehen haben. Er unterstützte uns auch beim Kauf von Obst am Straßenrand oder auf dem Markt, um einen angemessenen Preis zu bezahlen 😉.

Wonderful place to relax
We can highly recommend this wonderful place including staff and service. We enjoyed Bali from the moment we arrived at the airport and this is due to the heart warming dedication of the staff and Karin. The villa is located at a wonderful place and from the pool to beach it is literally 10 steps. When have booked the Juta as our driver for the entire 10 days and this was worth every cent - we learned more about Bali and the people then all trips before. Furthermore the Sepi and Ayu took wonderfully care of us beginning from the very first evening. Also Budi, the manager, was always available and gave great advice. Finally a deep warm thank you to Karin and everybody taking so much care of us. We will keep our time with you in best memories.

Amazing Property!
This place is heavenly and hard to leave. If you are looking for a spot away from all the commercialism, and nestled in a real Balinese community, this is your place. The property is stunning and so peaceful, the pictures don't even do it justice, amd the staff are attentive and helpful but also allow you to have privacy and do whatever you want with your time. The food is excellent, the environment so peaceful, that you will feel you've escaped all your day to day stresses when you arrive here. We spent our time alternating between day trips to waterfalls, local temples, snorkel spots, dolphin viewing (a boat that picks you up at dawn right in front of the villa) and just relaxing at the villa for a few days enjoying the beautiful beach right on the property, the pool, the daybed overlooking the sea, and so on. The property manager is so kind and helpful, the owner is very responsive, the women who cook and clean, Ayu and Sepi, are wonderful and prepare delicious meals that are exactly what you order off of an extensive menu. And Juta, the driver, is so helpful, kind and a wealth of information. There is overnight security, just for peace of mind, and the property (full of stunning statues and blooming flowers) is maintained daily by a gardener. This is an amazing place for people who want to experience the non-commercial Bali. Once you arrive, you will never want to leave. Truly zen, and the kindest people you can imagine who are supporting any need you might have. Cannot recommend more highly!

Wonderful villa and lovely staff.
We really enjoyed our stay at Bima Sena. The villa is spacious and comfortable. Set in beautiful gardens and very peaceful. We ate in most days and the food produced by Ayu and Epi was authentic and beautifully presented. Juta, our driver, was great fun and very informative about the area. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. Bali is a beautiful island and we enjoyed lovely weather throughout our stay.

ein perfekter Urlaub
Unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa Bima Sena, haben wir sehr genossen. Unsere zwei Hausfeen Ayu und Ebi verwöhnten uns jeden Morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück und abends mit einem leckerem Dinner. Nebenbei hielten sie auch das Haus in Ordnung.Auf Wunsch gab es auch sehr entspannende Massage, welche wir uns mehrfach gönnten. Yus unser Fahrer zeigte uns jeden Tag mit viel Witz und Charme bei unseren Ausflügen die Schönheiten der Insel. Wir hatten ihn für den gesamten Zeitraum gebucht und würden dies auch jedem empfehlen.Der Manager Budi kam regelmäßig vorbei um nach dem Rechten zu sehen. Alle Angestellten sprechen sehr gutes Englisch, so dass auch die Kommunikation kein Problem war. Wir haben uns dort sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Urlaub einfach nur genießen können. Eben ein perfekter Urlaub !

Moderne, flott innredet hus med alle fasiliteter, super beliggenhet ved sjøen og herlig basseng.
Vi er en familie på 4 som tilbragte en fantastisk uke i villaen. Når uken var omme skulle vi ønske at vi hadde booket et 8mye lenger opphold. Huset ligger i en gate helt nede ved sjøen sammen med flere utleievillaer. Området er rolig og et ikke turistområde som gjør det hele enda mer eksotisk. Vi hadde omtrent den sorte vulkanstranden for oss selv, men brukte mest det flotte bassenget som nærmest lå på stranden. Utrolig flott! Jentene i villaen var utrolig serviceinstilte og handlet, vasket klær, tilbød masasje og tryllet fram de lekreste Indonesiske måltider. Vi hadde en super sjåfør hele uka (Yus) som tok oss til ulike attraksjoner som han foreslo og steder vi hadde pekt oss ut selv. Snorkling, marked, rismarker osv. Han ble leid via utleier og kan absolutt anbefales! Vi hadde et aldeles fantastisk opphold i Villa Bima Sena og håper vi får anledning å komme igjen en dag!

Fantastische week gehad
De villa is werkelijk prachtig en nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Alles is heel schoon en goed onderhouden. We zijn een week in Villa Birma Sema verbleven en we hebben als gezin, met 3 pubers, echt genoten. Er werd voor ons gekookt door de dames en dat was erg goed (en ook goedkoop). De chauffeur stond de hele week tot onze beschikking en die heeft ons naar mooie plaatsen in de omgeving gebracht. Via de manager hebben we geregeld dat we een dag gingen duiken bij Menjangan eiland en in de ochtend dolfijnen gingen spotten. Zeer veel dolfijnen gezien! Kortom een absolute aanrader.

Beautiful property
Upon arrival we were greeted by Ayu and Epi From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. I can’t say enough how wonderful these girls are They took such good care of us. They always made sure we had everything we needed. The Villa is absolutely beautiful. We had an amazing vacation. We made lifelong new friends and have wonderful memories. All of the staff are amazing. Yus are driver is incredible. He took us on a great adventure we did so much in our time in Bali. Yus is also a wonderful new friend. We also have to thank Cadet the gardener he kept everything beautiful on the property. Then there are the two security guards who kept us safe. I would highly recommend having Yus be your driver while you are on vacation. He has a great knowledge of where to go and also takes great care of his guests. He gets you there safely and makes you laugh a lot. Thank you Karin for sharing your amazing Villa and staff with us. I hope we will return someday.!!

Ruhige Lage, saubere und gepflegte Villa, netter und persönlicher Service
Mit 4 Erwachsenen hatten wir das Vergnügen in der Villa Bima Sena 12 Tage zu wohnen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns für den tollen Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Beautiful villa, right on the gorgeous black beach!
I cannot say enough about how much our family enjoyed staying in this beautiful villa! There is everything you need. It’s located right on the gorgeous black sand beach with stunning views. The pool was fabulous! It was so refreshing after a full day of sight seeing. The staff are beautiful people, who all made our stay extra special. Our driver Yus was great at suggesting things to do. He is funny and full of information. We really feel he gave us an inside view of how the lovely people of Bali live, celebrate, and care about each other. The manager Budi and Karin were always available if we needed anything. The food was amazing! Ayu not only cleaned, cooked and did laundry, but also could provide manicures, pedicures, and massages. She and Deri were amazing and even surprised us with a cake, and did a special ceremony for our daughters birthday! Some of the staff became like family to us 🙂 Villa Bima Sena provided much more than expected and gave us the real Bali experiences we would not have had if we had just stayed in touristy Kuta. We will definitely be back again! Thanks Karin and staff! ❤️

Amazing Villa!
We stayed at Villa Bima Sema for 4 nights in September 2017. The location in North Bali is very quiet and peaceful, much less busy than the resorts in South Bali and in Ubud where we had stayed earlier during our holiday. Booking and pre-arrival communication with the owner Karin was excellent. The villa is stunning both inside and outside. The bedrooms and living areas inside the villa are spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Outside the pool and garden areas are beautiful and very well looked after by the villa's gardener. The garden offers direct access to the beach and fantastic sea views. The staff at the villa were all amazing, in particular Sepi and Ayu who looked after us so well, and cooked us amazing Balinese food each evening and delicious breakfasts in the morning. Budi the villa manager was always available shoudl there be any problems, but we did not need to contact as everything was perfect. He did arrange a boat trip to see the dolphins which picked us up outside the villa and was amazing - I would defintely recommend doing this while at the villa. We arranged for a car and driver to pick us up from our previous villa in Ubud (they can also pick up at the Airport or other locations in Bali), drop us off at our hotel for our last night close to the Airport, and have use of the car and driver during our stay which I would highly recommend for sightseeing and other activities. This was arranged directly through Karin and the cost was very reasonabble. We absolutely loved our time at Villa Bima Sema, and are definitely planning on coming back.

Extraordinaire
La villa est magnifique et le staff fantastique et à nos petits soins. Un petit bémol quant à l'odeur de l'eau des douches et robinets qui sentent les égouts mais sans doute dû aux canalisations balinaises en mauvais état. Cela n'a en rien gâché notre séjour et nous ne pouvons que recommander ce petit coin de paradis.

Perfekter Urlaub im Norden von Bali!!!
Das war wirklich der schönste Urlaub den wir je hatten! Sehr erholsam und von höchstem Standard und Komfort! Die Beschreibung als auch die Bilder die hier eingestellt sind, treffen zu 100% die Realität und sehen in live sogar noch besser aus! Das Haus ist wirklich gemütlich und toll eingerichtet. Die Lage einfach klasse, direkt am Strand im etwas ruhigeren Norden von Bali die auch nicht so überlaufen ist mit Toursiten. Aber dennoch zentral für sehr viele tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten. Besser hätten wir es nicht treffen können! Das Highlight des Urlaubs war definitiv das so super nette und zuvorkommende Personal. Unsere drei Köchinnen die auch die Villa in Schuss gehalten haben waren Top! Wir konnten uns alles wünschen und haben uns mit Top-Qualität durch die typisch balinesische Küche gefuttert. Daher ein großes Lob an Ayu und ihr Team. Aber auch die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind unbegrenzt. Agus unser Faher hat uns überall hingefahren. Wir können nur jedem empfehlen den Faher zu buchen der auch 24h zur Verfügung steht. Wir haben jeden zweiten Tag etwas unternommen und hatten dennoch die Möglichkeit die Villa zu genießen und zu entspannen. Dank Yus unserem Guide können alle Ausflüge nach individuellen Wünschen geplant werden, die zahlreichen Tempel sollte man besuchen oder die UNESCO-Welterbe Reisterrassen. Die Vulkane mit den Tempeln oder einfach Schnorcheln und tauchen gehn und die Vielfalt genießen. Wir haben noch einen Trip auf die Gili-Inseln gemacht, welches mein TOP-Highlight ist. Großes Lob auch an Budi dem Manager, der wirklich alles top organisiert und alles im Griff hat. Von der Buchung, bis zur Abholung am Flughafen, den zwei Wochen Aufenthalt, den Trips und den entspannten Tagen in der Villa war einfach alles perfekt. Wir empfehlen die Villa Bima Sena voll und ganz und werden definitiv nochmal wieder kommen!!!
