Skønt og rent værelse, gode senge, fantastisk service og fin placering. Kun morgenmadsudvalget havde de svært ved at fylde op løbende, når der var mange gæster ad gangen.

Lovely hotel!
Lovely hotel with clean rooms, nice and helpful staff. The room i was in was rather small, but it was okay for one person. The bed, the pillows and blanket were fantastic! Breakfast was also fine.

We were warmly welcomed by a most serviceminded and dedicated (Chinese) receptionist. Such a good impression to start with! Beautiful room, very cosy and comfortable, with a warm and peaceful atmosphere. Exquisite bathroom. This lovely boutique hotel is Very close to the central station and to the lake. Highly recommendable!

Nice hotel - but neighbourhood not too good.
Hotel was nice - and rooms actually very nice and clean - and with a nice decor. Service was fine, staff friendly - but don't walk too far down towards the lake from the hotel, as you'll pass through a quite bad neighbourhood.

Excellent hotel
We had a very nice long weekend and enjoyed the room very much. Excellent service and pleasent staff. Good quiet location near public transport in a vibrant and cosy part of geneve. Breakfast buffet very nice, but a bit expensive.

The hotel was in a good location, not far from the lake and the railway station and plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but a little dated. The shower over the bath was not easiest to use as water would end up on the floor if not careful. The electrical sockets need updating to international standards, no USB sockets. It was a bit noisy from about 7am when delivery and refuse trucks were outside the hotel and the building opposite is a building site but didn't cause any real inconvenience. At most other times it was quiet. The hotel only offers breakfast as it doesn't have a restaurant and breakfast time can be busy up to 8:30am. Plenty of interesting restaurants to suit all tastes nearby.

Très belle chambre et service impeccable !
Hôtel très agréable et confortable. À l’arrivée, on nous a proposé un surclassement, dans une chambre avec une grande terrasse mais le lit était plus petit que dans la chambre habituelle, on nous a à nouveau surclassé dans une chambre exécutive. Superbe ! Un grand merci !

Disappointing
Room is sold for 3 adults, however the second bed (sofa bed) is unbearable, completely broken and bad for your back. Disappointing breakfast and bathroom is not great. Staff very friendly and room spacious.

Bon rapport qualité prix !
Séjour très agréable avec tous les équipements necessaires et un personnel très sympatique. Dans les points à améliorer je noterai le chauffage de la chambre qui était beaucoup trop chaud à mon arrivée (une température de base ee 20°C serait plus écoresponsable) et l'insonorisation qui n'est pas parfaite. Dans l'ensemble ca reste un bon rapport qualite prix !

Great place that is much more affordable than other options with this quality. The hotel is in a great area and the bed is comfortable. No eveing meals or bar but many options around.

Was clean and small
Uneventful. Not great. Not bad. Just a small clean room. We did ask for extra pillows and could not get them. The front desk didn’t know how. But she said come down to get them since she was by herself. Little bit wasted my time.

Dear Mrs Berg,I thank you for your feed back regarding your stay at the Kipling and I'm sorry if it didn't met your expectation.Our standard rooms are 25m2 which is much larger than the average in Geneva (but we have Executive room with 10m2 bigger for the future if needed).After 8H30pm, the receptionist are alone in the hotel, so they cannot leave the reception, that's why she asked you to come to the reception to pick up your extra pillows.We hope to welcome you back in the future again.Best Regards,

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the train station, not far from he main shops, the old town and all the key sites. Fairly small hotel with 10-13 rooms on 5 floors. Room was a reasonable size, had everything you could need and were very warm. Breakfast room is small so can get congested at popular times. Breakfast itself was okay.

This hotel is well located in Geneva- close to the main station. Unfortunately is was dirty, noisy, the elevator didn’t work for part of my stay, my door would not open until an average of 5 tries. Also, the credit card machine would not work when I went to pay on my way out to the airport. They finally took my payment by logging in the numbers physically. On the flip side, a couple of staff were super helpful and friendly, and the location is good!

Very clean and nicely decorated. Closevto station and easily walkable to everything. We had thhe executive room,that dhould accomodate 4 people, but were never told the extra bed woukd be a pull out couch that would not lay flat. When we enquired about it - they said it was for small children. False advertising!

Dear Gail,Thank you for your feedback following your stay with us in the Kipling. I am sorry that you had the trouble with our sofa bed. Unfortunately the sofabed is not today a comfortable option for an adult. We are working on a project to replace them as soon as possible in order to propose something nice and comfortable. We also propose family rooms, which is 2 standard rooms with a connecting door. This way all 4 guests have a real bed to sleep in. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to welcome you back to the Kipling another time and that your stay will be better.With my best regards

Hotellin yleiset tilat siistit ja viihtyisät. Standard huone tavanomaisen kokoinen ja tyylinen. Mukava iso sänky, hyvät liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet. Hygieniatuotteita vain suihkugeeli, palasaippua ja shampoo. Kokolattiamaton ja verhojen kunto ei vastannut huoneen korkeaa hintaa. Hyvä maukas riittävän monipuolinen aamiainen. Sijainti vain muutaman korttelin päässä asemalta, josta hyvät yhteydet eri kulkuvälineillä, tosin jokasortin viheltäjää ympäristössä. Hyvä sijainti parin korttelin päässä asemalta

A very good choice for Geneva
We only had one night in Geneva and hotel Kipling was a great choice. Minutes from the beautiful lake and also an easy stroll from the train station. We didn't get to use the free transport card but a great addition to the stay! Breakfast was varied and friendly and staff were all very lovely. The room was quiet and spacious and the bed very comfortable.
