Harmony Ridge Hideaway: 10 acre mountain retreat w/hot tub and sauna

Harmony Ridge Hideaway is a secluded mountain retreat in the Shenandoah Valley. Nestled on over 10 acres and surrounded by mature trees, it's an ideal getaway to relax and recharge. Have breakfast on the top deck while taking in the view, then lounge on the shady side deck or sunny outdoor patio. Later, play ping pong, pool, or an arcade game. Then wind down in the hot tub or watch a movie in the basement. Located 1.5 hours from the DC metro area, it is the perfect place for a change of pace.


Upon arrival you will be driving up a paved hill. Be sure to make the immediate right onto the gravel road that leads you to the home. There are two levels of parking, one closer to the front door underneath the deck and another at the basement/outdoor patio level.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS

The home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All four bedrooms are on the main level. Bedroom 1 with a queen bed and bedroom 2 with two full beds are in the main entrance hallway. Bedroom 3 with a king bed and bedroom 4 with a bunk are located farther back on the level after passing the staircase. There is a full bathroom on the main level and another ensuite bathroom in the king bedroom. There is a full bathroom on the upstairs kitchen level, and another full bathroom in the basement.

KITCHEN

The kitchen is on the upper level with a dining table that seats 4 and a bar that seats 4. Flowing from the kitchen is a smaller living area that allows for even more room to spread out and socialize as a family or group while meals are prepared. Outside the kitchen on the top deck there is also a dining table that seats 6. The fully stocked kitchen comes equipped with all the necessary cooking tools, coffee, paper goods, and dinnerware.

OUTDOOR SPACE

The deck has ample seating, a large grill (propane provided), outdoor dining area. There are also two outdoor lounge areas on either side of the home, and a six person hot tub on the lower level.

We offer wifi throughout the home, and a desk in the office for your remote work needs. Fresh linens are provided and the kitchen is fully stocked with the essentials. We are fortunate to share our property with a range of wildlife, including wild turkey, eagles, hawks, deer, rabbits and foxes. Given the secluded and wooded nature of our property, there are bugs around during the spring and summer, and occasionally a few might make their way into the home. If you're like us, you'll see it as part of the charm of communing with nature in the mountains!

Our driveway is a little rough and could use some love. Please be sure to drive carefully up and down the winding path. We also strongly advise to travel in a car that has four wheel drive in the winter months in the event of adverse weather.
