Welcome to "The Hidden Palm" on Fripp Island! This luxurious 5 bedroom home is every vacationers dream. Relish in beautiful serene sunset views of the marsh from the large screened in porch and multiple back decks. The third floor offers a game room for your competitive family members to enjoy playful fun! This tastefully decorated Southern style home is close to all Fripp Island has to offer; miles of beach line, golf courses, pools, tennis courts, and more.

The house offers 5 bedrooms: on the first floor, two luxuriously appointed king bedrooms and a bedroom with two bunk beds and a twin trundle bed with a distinctly nautical theme. A bedroom with two double beds and full bath on the second floor, and a separate apartment with a King master bedroom with a full bath for more privacy. The home is large enough to bring the family but small enough to easily get around.



The second floor offers a well appointed kitchen along with a living room and TV for family movie night. The dining area has seating and a picturesque view of the marsh! Step outside to the large screened in porch with plenty of seating for the whole family.



Fripp Island is rich in nature and wildlife and all these things can easily be explored by bike, golf cart, or on foot. This property is located close by all amenities Fripp Island has to offer (i.e Club House, Tennis Courts, Nature Center, etc). Fripp Island is a resort community and use of certain amenities require the guest to have an Resort Guest card. Facilities requiring a guest card for use include all golf facilities, resort dining facilities and all community pools. See additional details regarding Fripp Resort Guest cards below.

A Perfect Coastal Getaway – The Hidden Palm is a Gem!Our stay at The Hidden Palm on Fripp Island was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spacious and inviting the home was. It easily accommodated our group with plenty of room to relax, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company.What truly sets this property apart, though, is the incredible view of the marsh. Every window seemed to frame a peaceful Lowcountry scene, and the natural beauty surrounding the home made it feel like a true retreat.The three porches facing the marsh were absolutely exceptional—each one offering a unique perspective and atmosphere. Whether we were enjoying morning coffee or winding down with a glass of wine at sunset, these outdoor spaces became our favorite spots to gather. The serene sounds of the marsh, the abundant wildlife, and the soft coastal breeze created a calming, almost magical ambiance.The home is well-appointed, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was, and the location on Fripp Island made it easy to enjoy all the natural beauty and amenities the island has to offer.The Hidden Palm a special place that offers the perfect balance of comfort, space, and stunning views. Our extended family stayed here recently and it was perfect for our group with plenty of areas for everyone to hang out, kid friendly and beautiful views. The big screened-in porch overlooking the waterway was our favorite spot to relax and share meals. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our trip and the property managers were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for multiple families

Perfect house for multiple families staying together while also giving some privacy. Beautiful marsh view and cleanliness. Property manager was also quick to respond. One of our favorite houses we have vacationed at.

Family vacation spot

House is nice and resort location is great. Definitely recommend getting the amenity cards to use the pool and on-site restaurants. These were great additions for our family. The Rec room with ping pong table on 3rd floor was a huge hit and there were tons of games to entertain. Separate apartment is nice for privacy and was perfect for the grandparents, but is still a work in process and could use more furnishings. The golf cart at the house is a plus and needed for beach access - but might need a new battery. The battery died on our trip back from the pool and we had to push it home. The code to the lockbox didn’t work for us and the key pad to enter the house is not readable and does not work properly. Made it difficult to check-in at night. Recommend checking in while it’s still light and before 5:00. Our kids enjoyed touring the resort property and seeing the deer, gators, bald eagle and other wildlife. Bring mosquito repellent, bath tissue. Overall the house was nice, homey, cute decor, well stocked kitchen, beach towels, washer / dryer, dishwasher and plenty of towels. Lots of deck space and as advertised, the resort was great and location had fun things to do.

Nice but Too many steps

The house is very nice and in a great part of the island. We had elderly parents with is and the write up did not clearly state the living areas were located on the 2nd floor. It was alot of steps for them. The key pad at the front door didn't work so there was one house key for 10 people. View fron the back porch was beautiful!

Perfect for beautiful sunsets

The best thing about this property was the 3 porches (one screened) with a long marsh view. We spend much time on the porch listening to the nature around us. The house was perfectly clean but would benefit from some updating starting with the charcoal grill that was in its last days when we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

Mentor weekend

Our group of 10 loved this space for our women's retreat. We had a lot of structured discussion time and had plenty of room in the den. The big table held all of us. The back porch was so peaceful. The different levels gave some space and separation when needed. It was a beautiful weekend!

Great family home!

We had a special time together at this home on Davis Love. The house is spacious enough for10 people & a baby including a nice screened in porch for reading, eating, talking & napping. We had a few issues that were resolved with a quick phone call to the owner--she took care of our problems & replied to our messages in a timely way. Thank you for providing a nice home for our 6th visit to Fripp Island!

Fripp Island is a paradise!

We always enjoy our time on Fripp Island. But, this house was not up to par in comparison with other homes we've rented. The home was not the cleanest, the carpets in the bedroom were filthy; I'm not sure what was going on with the kitchen floor, but there were a few self stick tiles put down, and they had come loose and were moving; the sofa was shredded (and cushions were turned to the wrong side), in hopes we wouldn't notice; the top sheets did not fit the beds; a couple of the mattress pads had blood stains on them. It was very inconvenient not having a common bathroom available on the main floor. Being on the marsh I assumed there would be more bugs, but I didn't expect them to be in the house as well as outside. There are two of us that are very susceptible to bug bites and we were doctoring ourselves with bug spray and itch cream all week. The air filters in the hvac system hadn't been changed in months, maybe even longer and we struggled all week to keep the house cool. That could have been some of the bug problem. The outside shower is very basic with just a dribble of water coming out of the faucet. It would be nice to have outside water and hose to rinse the steps, etc to keep the sand out of the house a little easier. This could be a nice house if were properly taken care of. The best thing about the house, and why I gave the 3 star overall review, was the large screened in back porch, but there were bugs there too. Luckily, we spent most of our time at the beach or out on the golf carts that we rented. Fripp Island has the most beautiful beach I've ever seen and our time spent on the beach was wonderful.

Great location.

The house served our family of twelve well. The location is great. We spent most of our time at the house on the screened porch on the back enjoying the view of the marsh. It was nice to have seating for the whole group for dinner but the living room was tight for hanging out. The beds were comfortable and the in-law suite was perfect for my father to have some quiet away from the grandkids. We really enjoyed having access to all the beach equipment since we aren't able to fly with any of it. Only wished that there had been a few more things to get you started - there was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one roll of paper towels and a tiny thing of dish detergent but no soap in any of the bathrooms to even wash your hands. The property agent was great to deal with and responded to requests quickly. Would recommend to others.

A perfect week in the sun!

I loved everything about our stay on Fripp Island! The house was beautifully laid out and conducive to visiting! We especially enjoyed sitting on the screened balcony and watching over the marsh with its birds and animals!
