"Cottages by the Sea er en fantastisk lille perle på en fantastisk strand lidt uden for Frederiksted. Byen synes sovende, pittoresk med både istandsatte bygninger og forfaldne huse. Bygninger der går tilbage til kolonitiden og den gamle danske lutheranske kirke med få gamle gravsted med danske navne bl.a.Frederik von Scholten. Eneste mangel er indkøbsmulighed på stedet. Der skal køres efter dagligvarer."

Unfortunately, the sargassum came in earlier than expected so we were unable to use the private beach to swim but still able to sit outside and enjoy the island breeze. "It is a quiet accommodation with nearby places to eat and shop located in a central area. Good communication. The air works well. It doesn't have a water heater but the island is hot but refreshing at night. Otherwise excellent."

"Booked this stay last minute. LaVaughn was there to greet us when we arrived. Space is extremely clean and everything looks just like the pictures. The location is close to nightlife and the boardwalk. Finding space to park on the street was really never an issue. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to St. Croix for a visit."

"This is a beautiful location right on the ocean and very central to activities on the island. Chad and Emily were there to greet us, offered us great suggestions as to how to enjoy the island, and even made us delicious cookies upon our arrival.The cottage is well-appointed and very clean. The space is very private and separate from the main house. We enjoyed golfing, snorkeling and hiking on the island, and we would certainly recommend this cottage to couples who just want to get away! Enjoy...

"We spent a month on St Croix and found this place to be perfect for us and our family who came. It has 3 bedrooms with individual, quiet air conditioning units. The large living space is also air conditioned but some days the island breezes made it cool and enjoyable. The view of the ocean was lovely. "

We loved our stay - the house had absolutely everything we needed - plenty of towels, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, great WiFi. Loved having coffee in the morning and evening drinks while looking at the view and listening to the waves crash. The 2 patios (upper and lower - right on the rocky beach) were great and also perfect for star gazing at night "

"Fantastic hotel. We returned after 20 years (now with kids of 9 and 13) and had again a fantastic vacation at The Buccaneer. The beaches, pool and tennis courts are very nice and a very serviceminded staff made our stay unforgettable. Love the place and will be returning."

"Stedet får dig ned i gear, når du sidder i restauranten og ser havet og palmerne. Servicen i restauranten er langsom til gengæld kom tjeneren lidt for tit og spurgte om alt var ok, hvilket var lidt svært at finde et nyt svar på, når maden enten ikke var kommet eller forkert. Midt i hovedretten fik vi regningen. Generelt var personalet lidt svært at få fat, når man ville spørge om noget. Jeg måtte finde en facility manager efter at rengøringen havde ledt efter personalet til at checke os ud. Han ringede så til en leder, som blot bad os om at lægge nøglen på disken ved check out. Værelset var ok med fin seng. De andre møbler står og rokker lidt. Fin udsigt og direkte adgang til stranden fra terrassen. "
