"We spent a month on St Croix and found this place to be perfect for us and our family who came. It has 3 bedrooms with individual, quiet air conditioning units. The large living space is also air conditioned but some days the island breezes made it cool and enjoyable. The view of the ocean was lovely. "

"We love staying at Cane Bay. The beach is beautiful and right across the street. The location is halfway between Fsted and Csted which was great for us. If you’re hungry, the Landing is a few steps away and they do live music a couple times a week. We stayed at one of the cottages. Perfect view from our deck. "

"Booked this stay last minute. LaVaughn was there to greet us when we arrived. Space is extremely clean and everything looks just like the pictures. The location is close to nightlife and the boardwalk. Finding space to park on the street was really never an issue. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to St. Croix for a visit."

"This location is awesome. Our cottage was steps from the ocean. The restaurant is wonderful but can be crazy busy. I suggest eating at 3 or 4 for dinner. Do rent a car. This was one of our best vacations ever!"

"We checked in on a Saturday and left the following Tuesday. The cabin was clean, had a nice full kitchen, and a great porch for chilling and talking with your neighbors. Very close to the beach and The Landing Bar had good drinks and convenient food. Definitely recommend being there for a Sunday Funday to really get a feel for the island life and culture. "

"Fantastic hotel. We returned after 20 years (now with kids of 9 and 13) and had again a fantastic vacation at The Buccaneer. The beaches, pool and tennis courts are very nice and a very serviceminded staff made our stay unforgettable. Love the place and will be returning."

Slow place with a view

"Stedet får dig ned i gear, når du sidder i restauranten og ser havet og palmerne. Servicen i restauranten er langsom til gengæld kom tjeneren lidt for tit og spurgte om alt var ok, hvilket var lidt svært at finde et nyt svar på, når maden enten ikke var kommet eller forkert. Midt i hovedretten fik vi regningen. Generelt var personalet lidt svært at få fat, når man ville spørge om noget. Jeg måtte finde en facility manager efter at rengøringen havde ledt efter personalet til at checke os ud. Han ringede så til en leder, som blot bad os om at lægge nøglen på disken ved check out. Værelset var ok med fin seng. De andre møbler står og rokker lidt. Fin udsigt og direkte adgang til stranden fra terrassen. "

"Absolutely amazing! The best hotel ever! Traveling with my family and we had concerns about the “option free clothing”-pool, but it’s on the other side of the road and you can choose to go or not. Everybody’s so kind and welcoming."
