"Had such a wonderful stay at Chateau Royal! I am from New Iberia, but we have outgrown our family home, so in recent years have needed to find alternative places to stay. This is our new favorite place. It was clean and well stocked. Within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, shopping, City Park. Great view of Bayou Teche from back deck. Plenty of room for family to visit. Mickey made sure we had everything we needed. We needed extra space, and booked Bayou Chateau next door last...

"Our stay was wonderful. The location was very rural which made it very quiet and peaceful. The view from the screened area in the rear of the river was relaxing (and bug free). Glasses and plates were plentiful. Short on eating utensils. Just grab some plastic with a carryout meals. The pictures of the inside and outside was exact. Very clean and well maintained. "The only thing I would add to make this experience better would be lamps in the bedrooms. Some smaller coffee cups in the kitchen. Bedroom with the window unit stayed really cool. The rest of the house was a little warm. We enjoyed our stay. It was very close to the lake end where we enjoyed camping, boating and fishing with friends"
