"Had to come up for a funeral but was very familiar with area as my mother in law was a long time New London resident. Stayed here with my 2 adult children and our pups and it was just perfect. Close to everything in town and close the wonderful walking areas. Very clean and roomy and the porches were awesome."

"Perfect as an "overflow" for granddaugter's birthday weekend. Our small family enjoyed being able to celebrate in very pleasant outdoor space, including swimming in the lake, and playing in the yard area. Quiet and peaceful for sleeping, too. Highly recommend! Only drawback: If you are sensitive to scent, the beds, quilts, trashbags, and carpet are all highly scented."

"This cottage is so country, quiet and cozy. The homeowners are close by and very friendly. I stayed for bike week and when rain was abroad they even offered shelter for the bikes! House was very clean and feels like home. "

"You can tell Charlie and kayla are both parents - they really did think of everything, even the small details to cater for a family getaway. Our kids loved the hidden bunk bed room behind the bookshelf door especially! All the games, books and toys kept them busy and we all loved the peaceful location by the river/lake. "My boyfriend & I stayed at the Pemi Shore Cottages for 2 nights and it was exactly what we was looking for. Privacy in a wooded area with a quick walk to a beach? What more can we ask for :). We brought our two dogs and even that was a great accommodation! Our host John was super friendly and just one call away! I would highly recommend this location if you want to disconnect and relax."

"The house was so incredibly cute! There were 4 of us and everyone had their own room (although we ended up not using two of them) and there was just enough space for us not to feel cramped. It was clean, modern lake house feel and the location is incredible. We got there at night and when I woke up in the morning to see the view and walk out to the lake I was blown away! "The house was very nice and comfortable for four of us. Even though it rained each day, there is plenty of nearby shopping. We always try to do short term rentals when we travel. A couple of suggestions - the house had no wash cloths, no can opener, no salt & pepper shakers. Towels racks in the bathrooms would be a huge help. The listing indicated a hot tub and 2+ bathrooms. There was no hot tub and two full baths. There was no welcome booklet with local restaurants, points of interest, wifi...

"Claire’s cottage, though rustic, was very clean inside. Claire’s cottage worked out perfectly for us, it was in a central location for all of our events we were attending on Newfound lake Labor Day weekend. The host/property manager was extremely accommodating, quickly answered our questions and very helpful. Things were organized well and instructions were clear and easy to follow."
