Direct Beachfront 1 Bedroom/2 Full Bathroom Condo! Pelican Isle! Sleeps 6! Perfectly located on Beautiful Okaloosa Island! This beautiful 820 sq. ft. 1 Bedroom/2 Full Bathroom upgraded and 4th floor condo features a great location and comfort! Enjoy this perfect location just steps to the pool & beach and fantastic view from the private balcony! Included in your rental is Beach Service - 2 Chairs & 1 Umbrella- March 1-October 31st. No packing and lugging chairs to and from the beach.

The bedroom features a King bed and has an attached private full bathroom (Shower/Tub). There is a cozy bunk bed alcove (sleeps 2) in the hallway and a queen sleeper sofa (sleeps 2) in the living area. The 2nd full bathroom has a Walk In Shower. There is a wonderfully upgraded & equipped kitchen with all new stainless appliances for preparing any meal! Filtered water and ice maker in Refrigerator. 5 Star Linens and towels are provided. 6 Beach Towels provided. Washer & Dryer in the Unit.

Pelican Isle Resort is a clean, quiet, and well-kept condo complex that is centrally located on beautiful Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach. Just minutes from Destin (approximately 7 miles), and a short 15-20 minutes from the great Fort Walton Airport (VPS) where Allegiant, Delta, Southwest, American, & United Airlines all fly daily!

My wife loves the beach, and we were able to enjoy a nice getway! The unit was nice and just as described. The beach access and chairs/umbrella setup were just what we had hoped for. The view from the porch was grand. The Ft. Walton area is a great part of the beach becasue it's not too hectic, but access to do anyting most you want is not too far away. The only drawback was that the system used to generate the check-in codes was delayed, but we were graciously given an extended checkout time. I'd certainly reccommnend it.

The Perfect Getaway

I can’t say enough great things about Manta Ray. The view is a dream and the balcony is a game-changer. The size of the condo is very spacious. It’s decorated to perfection and gives all of the beachy vibes. It is stocked with everything you possibly need. The owners truly put thought into this condo to make your stay enjoyable. The beach towels and washer dryer came in so handy. We loved Manta Ray so much that we’ve shared it with family and friends and look forward to coming back again. Our stay was seamless and the perfect getaway before heading back to school for the year! Thank you, Howey Family!

Great view

Great view and can hear the waves from the balcony! The unit has 6 great beach towels and plenty of bath towels which was a nice accommodation. It also comes with a starter pack of dish washer liquid, laundry detergent and trash bags. We loved the in unit washer/dryer to clean our clothes after the beach. Unit is equipped with great kitchen supplies and has a box of beach toys on the patio which is so fun. The patio chairs are high top chairs so be cautious with children on the balcony. There is a king bed and then two built in bunks in the hallway.The condo itself has a “food pantry” located in the fitness room where people can leave/take unopened non perishables. The condo also has a “borrow bin” next to the beach walkway which has floaties, bodyboards, etc.

This condo was perfect in every way!! It was exactly as pictured and more than suited our every need. We arrived a little earlier than check in and the owners were so easy to communicate with, they even let us in a little early. It was wonderful to have my coffee out on the balcony every morning with the perfect view and sounds of the ocean. It was such a nice bonus to have chair service on the beach as well!! We came down for our 20th wedding anniversary and had a perfect week! We can't wait to come back!!

This was our first time to this beach and area. The room was perfect and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The beach was not crowded at all. The condo is a perfect location just minutes from all sorts of restaurants and activities.

Could have been better for the price

Our stay was great and we loved the area and beach view. The kitchen was well stocked. Upon check in we got a message with a pdf saying text with any issues upon arrival or anything reported after leaving would be on us. We went around and took pictures of paint chips, mold on the shower curtain, and a few minor things like the previous person or cleaner put tissues on the smoke detector with band aids as tape and it was there still when we arrived. Honestly, I was willing to look past that and not let the little mold upset me at the beginning of our vacation. We showered in the other shower and let them know. No response at all. I still was not going to let that bother me I assume owners are busy they’ll reply when they can. Never got one at all the whole stay. I text upon check out and let them know we were all out (a few hours early). No response. Later I get messages through VRBO with images of damages to another unit telling me these were reported broken and she sent their policy. It wasn’t even the unit we stayed in. She sure was quick to message me about damages but never acknowledged my text about mold. I even asked if she got my text about the mold when pointing out that wasn’t our unit and she said she remembers her husband sending something to the cleaners about a shower curtain. She did apologize about the mix up but for the price we paid getting no response about the shower curtain the whole week and then seeing they are able to communicate just didn’t sit right.

Great views and property!

Right on the beach as advertised! Reserved parking spot in the garage. The place was clean and well kept up. The owners even let us come a couple of hours early because they didn't have anyone checking out that same day, which was very kind of them and let us have extra beach time. Only thing, not a complaint per se, is the bed is firm, not soft, so be aware with your bed preferences. Pillows were very comfortable though, and so was the rest of the furniture. Great visit!

Clean & Comfortable

We stayed 10 days. If the bed is important to you, this has it! Starter supplies like TP and PT were nice. Be sure to plan a groc trip or delivery after day 1 though. Beach towels are a nice touch. Property staff were very kind and helpful if we needed anything. Beach service was such a plus! Great stay! If you're on the fence on whether to choose this unit, dont hesitate.

I don't want to go home

We have stayed at many of the condos in this building over the years. We chose this unit this year because we wanted understated "beach" design. Everything about this unit is modern, up to date, functional, solid and ready to move in. The furnishings are top notch and the owners have carefully thought out (luck? planned? idk?) everything. Hat rack: check. Super excellent washer/dryer: check. King size bed: check Bath storage: check. Clothes storage: check. And more. We love the tile floor because it is easy to clean: this is the beach and sand gets everywhere. Check in is easy: in fact the owners are readily available by phone and easy to deal with. Honestly, I don't really like mentioning all the great things because I don't want to fight with you for our next reservation. You can read more about the overall property outside this unit elsewhere. Pelican Isle. We like staying here and really love this place in particular. We will return.

Flawless stay

We had a great time at the property. All staff were friendly, easy check-in process. Beach was amazing and kids really enjoyed the easy access to the pool and gulf. Quiet area and we will be coming back!

Perfect weekend

We came in for memorial weekend and had a wonderful time! It’s just close enough to restaurants and a Publix for groceries. The chairs and umbrella that came included made sitting on the beach perfect! The view was beautiful from the balcony to watch the sun set and rise!
