The resort boasts several fine amenities for you to enjoy; including, a 5-acre freshwater lake, lighted tennis courts, two full-sized pools & two kiddie pools, shuffleboard courts, beachside volleyball courts, BBQ grilling pits, & so much more!

Nearby, you can experience some of the finest golf courses, deep-sea fishing adventures, and boat rentals, not to mention the numerous dining & shopping options for you to indulge. Guests can also take advantage of the shuttle service throughout the Destin area!

Crappy Week

Ad says newly remodeled it was not. We walked up to unload our luggage and was greeted by a dead rat on the front porch. The kitchen floor was sticky so I mopped it I have pictures to show how dirty the floor was. There were several holes punched in the walls. There is not enough room for me to go on. I have been vacationing in Destin for 35 years I will not go back there. Terrible experience!!!

This place could definitely use some freshening up! The pictures look fresh and clean and that was not the case. There were walls that were dirty, all the rugs were dirty, some small holes in the walls. The pictures should really be updated. The furniture In Living area was different and there is also a lift chair that takes up a lot of room on the stairs which was a major inconvenience. Also a ramp with rails in front of the condo which made the parking and getting in and out with stuff a hassle. Great for someone that needs those things. There wasn’t a lot of silverware so we were constantly washing those. The master room with the bunks smelled like a dog had peed on the rugs under them so the kids slept on top bunks. The other two rooms were very hard to move around in. The room with the king bed was against the wall so you couldn’t walk around it and the other room had little room to walk around the bed and wires from the tv were just dangling so you couldn’t help but knock into those every time (again doesn’t show in pictures). When I had booked there was a picture showing the condo was located on the beach which I did notice that picture has been removed since I called about that. The walk ended up not being that bad but it is a haul if you have lots to take to the beach.. it is located right next to the highway so some nights were pretty loud in the late night hours. It did make it convenient getting in and out to the hwy and the pool was right there.

Not happy

We was relocated from the time I booked the property. Was to be at unit 30. We ended up in 17 which a handicap unit. Which was fine. But that was not what I rented are agreed on. Then the 7min. Walk to beach was a lie.. I had no view of the bay like we should had. Parking was a mess. Then y'all tried to rent me a golf cart that couldn't even be used. Had no bath cloths. The couch bed was dirty. Which the cleaning person didnt even know that there was a couch bed. The place had spiders. I was not pleased at all.

Wonderful time

Need new furniture

This unit needs new furniture. It had the most uncomfortable couch. Not sure what is going on with the cushions, they would slide off. Both the queen and king bed were squeaky. Not very clean either. Positive:location was perfect.

The chair lift took up about 10 inches (I’m guessing I didn’t have a ruler )of the stair walking area of each step hand rail very high not reachable by our 4 year old. The smaller step area made it difficult to use stairs we had a few falls with our 4 year old and myself (52)

Book this condo today.

This is a wonderful condo to rent. You can tell it was recently renovated. It was bright and updated nicely. It also was extremely well stocked with what you will need, cooking supplies and paper products to start your stay. The location is great, close to everything you need. The beach is a short walk away and the pool is right across the parking lot. Very nice place to rent.

I would not stay here again :/

PROS- I did like how we were directly in front of the pool. The kids loved going to the pool every evening. The walk to the beach wasn’t terrible, it was actually cool to walk by the inlet of. water and see the turtles. But their was inconvenient. With little ones they had to go to the bathroom and there wasn’t any around. I did like the beds, I thought they were comfortable. CONS about the house. 1.there were little tiny ants on the counter and in bathrooms and on by the tv. . There isn't any place to put your food, there is not cabinet space so that was awful to place our food along counters and worry about the ants. 2. The couch on the site says “new memory foam mattress on the pull out bed, but it was a BROKEN and in usable bed. We were in contact with the host or whatever and they did end up bringing a new *thin*mattress. 3. There is no high chair or pack n play (I was misled and did not prepare to bring those things because i truly thought those items were there. And had a 10mo. 4. The black rug thing was EXTREMELY ******* dirty! I mean very dirty. Our feet were literally black from walking on floors.each day,but mainly from that rug. 5. The grill was absolutely filthy and the thing to place hotdogs on, was on the ground. But the grill was awful my husband had to scrape all the gunk and ashes out of there to prevent a fire before cooking our food. 6. A couple outlets were not working at all in the hallway beside the bathroom , I found this out because I was vacuuming and had to find other outlets.

Perfect for family with kids of all ages

Great condo within walking distance to the beach, shops, & restaurants. One of the pools is right across from the condo. The walk to the beach is a little longer than we thought but with 5 kids that was understandable. You can also drive through the neighborhood and park closer and that made it easier for us. There is a little bridge over a lake in the neighborhood on the way to the beach that is also really cool and the kids enjoyed fishing and watching all of the turtles there. The master bedroom has the bunk beds and also has a bathroom in the room. We had 4 kids stay in this room and it was perfect. The room with the queen bed with the iron bed frame needs a new mattress. My dad almost fell to the ground when getting into bed because it sunk in so far on the side by the window. The bedroom with the King bed had a super comfy mattress. The upstairs had a weird ammonia smell to it. The kitchen was great and fully furnished except that there were no pot holders. We looked everywhere for them. The sliding glass door was extremely hard to open and close (yes it was on its tracks). My husband and my dad (who are big men) even had a hard time with it. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s extremely heavy or if it needs oil or what but it was very frustrating. My kids ages 7-14 couldn’t open it at all. I know another family had an issue with this too. It could also be the sand from the beach and the humidity that makes it stick and difficult to move. I would definitely look into this because it was aggravating for everyone and I could see other guests getting annoyed by it. I also would recommend putting in the description that no tents of any kind are allowed on South Bay’s private beach. They do have a rental service where you can rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for $38/day. If you don’t rent from them you can’t put your stuff in front of the rentals, you have to put them behind which is farther away from the water. We did not learn about this until we received the check-in instructions and it was upsetting especially since they have a no cancellation policy. We always bring a big tent to the beach so the kids can have some time out of the sun and for lunch picnics etc. It also gives the baby a place to take a nap as well. Lots of families do this so knowing prior to booking would be good. All in all it was a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend. Especially if you have several kids like we do. Would stay again.

Great for families

Great place to stay for a large family. I love the location to the pool and the trash pick up. GPS has trouble finding this property, and it wasn't explained well that there are two separate drives for the condos. After figuring out where it was, it was a wonderful stay!

Bad condo

I would verify to be sure to get the condo you want. I paid for a condo on the beach, but got one near hwy 98 on the strip. It was dirty, plumbing has issues, and over priced for what we received.
