"Where to start…the only upside was the bar and cafe were close by the beach. Condo unit was badly outdated with bulky furniture that made it difficult to move around. Master bath shower head sprays water on the ceiling and straight out the door if it’s not pointed correctly. The elevators were broke down majority of the time we were there making it take a very long time to catch one. "The property was cute and right on the docks. You could watch the herons fishing. The walk to the private beach wasn’t far and the beach was gorgeous. I appreciated the good communication and clear directions from the host. The larger bathroom closet smelled like mildew. It shares a wall with the shower - not sure how you could avoid that. Finally, get rid of the pic of Big Kahuna splash park as “the pool”. I really was disappointed that there wasn’t a pool on the property and felt putting the...

"We had an overall enjoyable stay at the condo, especially thanks to its fantastic location. The space was comfortable and worked well for two couples. There were a few areas that could be improved. The kitchen was very understocked, and unfortunately neither ice maker was functioning during our stay, no tea pitchers, toaster did not work (host replaced toaster quickly). We also would have appreciated having extra blankets available. The game room had a noticeable odor, which might be helped...

"Well we did not end up bringing our pet. However the pet friendliness was obvious. The scenery was amazing at the beach ( a 3 minute walk across the street from unit) there was an amazing bar and grill on the beach as well. If you like piná coladas lol. We had a great time. All of the shopping was close by and the restaurants were many. "

"This was a lovely 1 bedroom condo. Easy walking to the shoreline. Quiet neighborhood with sidewalks and golf cart riding. The steps were easy to climb to get to condo. The bed mattress is on a platform so it sits lower to the ground. Shower was great with lots of hot water!We would stay here again if ever back in the Destin area."

"Our stay at the Pelican Beach Resort (Barefoot Bungalow) was awesome. This place is hard to beat if you want a true beachfront experience, the views from the 14th floor are incredible and you’re literally steps from the sand, Everything about the stay just felt easy and relaxing.
