"Sea Breeze" Stunning Destin Studio, 2 Resort Pools, Beach

Our Sea Breeze is the ideal Sterling Shores Destin studio. Take the time to explore our resort, as well as the amenities offered in our surrounding area and the miles and miles of pristine beaches. This property features not one but two dazzling pools. One 4300 square foot lagoon style resort pool with a large mushroom spray fountain; and a Gulf-front private Beach Club with a beachside pool, seasonally heated for residents and guests.

*Lagoon Pool will be heated starting on March 1st for Spring Break

*Two beautiful pools
*Private beach access with wheelchair-accessible ramp
*Balcony with partial Gulf views
*Fully renovated condo with king-size bed, smart TV, full bathroom, and kitchenette
*Kitchenette includes mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, sink, and folding table with two chairs

*Picnic areas for outdoor dining
*Perfect for couples or book alongside the adjoining 2-bedroom condo for a larger group
*Minimum age to rent is 25

Kitchenette does not have a cooktop (Ideal for reheating leftovers and prepping light meals)

Starter Pack: We provide our guests with a starter amenity pack of Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponges, coffee packs, and laundry detergent pods. Once the initial amenities are depleted, guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities.

Cancellation Policy: 100% refund when bookings are cancelled 60 days (or more) before the start of the stay. Bookings canceled between 59 and 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking; otherwise, the reservation is subject to cancellation.

Short getaway

This studio was perfect to stay in. Everything was listed accurately in the description and it was very clean. We were unsure how to unlock the balcony door but it wasn’t a huge deal for us. I would definitely come back!

Good Condo

The location and experience of this condo was very good. One thing that was a major problem was when we tried to put in our gate code on the first day it was completely wrong and the correct code was no where on the app. We did call the phone number listed on the app and the manager was very helpful. The balcony was very hard to open and took us a while to figure out how to get it open. There was a tear on the bed comforter but other than that the sheets were very clean. We loved being super close to the beach and having two different pools were so nice! Listed on the condo amenities was a hot tub but to my knowledge there was only two regular pools. Also not sure why a tennis court was listed there was definitely not one there at the condo location. Air conditioner and fan in condo worked very nice. Overall we had a good trip just those few things fixed would’ve made the trip way less stressful.

I used the door to the balcony twice and then it wouldn't open. I called for maintenance to check the balcony door. They called and said the door was tight and tried to explain how to open it up. I never could get it opened again. So I was only able to use the balcony twice the first morning of my stay. The toaster oven was inadequate for heating or cooking food and the room needs a higher quality one.

It was good!

Overall the inside of the place is nice. The outside of the building is very rusted and corroded in places. However the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The biggest issue we had was the gate to get in. We couldn't get it to work for 3 of our 4 days there. It was very frustrating. I had to call the property manager becuase we couldn't turn on the TV, there was only 1 chair outside and there were only 2 pillows. By the next day there was someone on site fixing all the issues which was great. Room was clean. Pool is very nice.

Great location, poorly executed

The location is great; across the street from the Back Porch and a short walk to the beach. The property is clean and well taken care of but we had multiple issues. We were given the wrong access code to the front gate. The door to the room is not marked so we had trouble finding it. We followed the instructions for the air conditioning but it still would not work so we requested that someone come look at it to fix it and after they did, it still didn’t work and there was no follow up from management to see if it worked or not. Overall not a great experience but was okay.

Sand in room from previous tenants no biggie it’s the beach. Gate codes only worked at getting in to pool from street side and getting back in from beach. Over all great stay it was my 6th year to stay at Sterling Shores

We loved the property, the area, and of course the beautiful beach! The only issue we had was we were given the wrong code to get into the gates. Apparently it was last years code so it worked on some gates but not others ( did not work to get our car into the parking lot). But we went to the office when they opened and got it figured. Everything else was great…we will be back!

Disappointing

The issues with this property were numerous and due to space restrictions I'll have to stick with point form. First, no directions to the unit which due to location was VERY hard to find especially in the dark. NO unit number or marking on the door. NO wristbands that we supposedly needed to use amenities (though there was NO security at all during our entire stay) -- we had to drive to managing company for bands. Gum on duvet (we got a replacement). Updated access code to property, was not provided (so we were locked out on the first full day of our visit. NO one at the gate and NO one answering the posted phone # (finally got in). Only ONE chair in the unit and no table (where was one meant to put a cup of coffee or a bowl of cereal?). ONE chair on balcony (badly in need of new cushions). Broken door onto patio almost impossible to properly secure (it blew open twice). Broken blinds letting in light all night due to building lighting. There was an interior door to the adjacent unit so one heard a LOT of what was being said/done next door! Basically spending as much time as possible outside, which should not be the case. Would not recommend.

Great location/Late checkout fees Aggressive

Small, studio, condo. Does not have full kitchen - microwave and toaster oven and mini fridge only. Room is an addition to the main condo so you do hear the other people behind the door. You will be woke up EVERY TIME they leave or come back as the door, naturally slams. Great location across from the beach and close to the back porch bar. Clean room with shampoo and complementary pesto and crackers. Be advised that late check out is not allowed and they charge 1000.00 per every hour you are late. And you can’t check in until 4 or 5 which is considerably late.

Everything was great other than the inaccuracy of the adjoining condo noise. We could clearly hear their conversations/ noise and constant closing of the doors which were very loud. You need to be more upfront about this to other renters.

Not too far from the beach.

I thought this property was going to be right on the beach. Parts of the property are, but there is a street to cross from the room. Also, it would have been nice to find some information in the room about the area and the property. I spent a bit of time wandering around looking for things like the trash chute, ice machine, pools (one is across the street) and beach access (kind of tucked away behind a building). I would stay here again if I had a car, but had to Uber a lot to restaurants. There’s not much in walking distance. The room is nice, and if you’re looking for a place to just sleep at night, it’s great!
