We got locked in our room on the first day had to have maintenance come. Floors were greasy and slippery even when not wet. The kitchen supplies were a box you had to get from the front. You get what you get. For 2 people we got one fork, one spoon, and one knife. Booked what room showed an oven. No oven and were basically told you get what you get. Maintenance and house keeping were nice. I paid extra to stay for late checkout. Room keys quit working at 11. House keeping kept coming to clean the room. Rooms were clean but not a great experience.

Nice property setup that covers several facilities in a cluster. Easy access to beach and boardwalk. Easy walk to a larger dining and entertainment area. Included breakfast is basic continental style. Room was modern and clean. Additional resort fee was added at check-in. On-site parking was convenient. 1 way streets around the complex took some getting used to.

La Atencion del personal es desastrosa, siempre mal predispuestos no ayudan a explicar nada, ofrecen tres piscinas que estan sucias y lejos quedan en otro condominio, eramos tres hospedandonos y no nos dieron vajilla para los tres justificandose que la caja viene solo para dos. No es no similar a como luce en las fotos, el baño la cantidad de agua para bañarse es poca.El desayuno es aceptable nada a poco. El estacionamiento es en la calle. Lo unico bueno es que queda en una hermosa ubicacion.

Room advertised on website and booked was not even comparable to the room upon check in! Very disappointing!! Had to pay for additional upgrade for a comparable room that was advertised as booked room. Did not receive room deposit back at check out.

rooms were older than expected and have not been updated except for a poorly laid floor. Most of the rooms had no outdoor space which meant no where to eat anything that was prepared in the room guests had to sit on the bed to eat. Also there wasnt any storage for clothing

To start.I chose the oceanfront rooms with the intention that I’d be able to see the beach from the window(like the picture) but instead we were placed on the back end of the building. That was fine but then around midnight while watching a movie, I spot a bed bug crawling across the covers . We report it. They changed our room to another building but then at that point we were no longer ocean front . So it was pretty much a stay I won’t make anymore.

This is my first time ever writing a review. We travel a lot. And this was the worst experience we have had in 20 years. They told us our room would be ready at 3, then changed it to 4. Then at 4 it still wasn’t ready. We didn’t get our keys until 5:30 The room didn’t have dishes and utensils it was supposed to. Patched up holes In the walls that aren’t painted. Pools are dirty. Staff was extremely rude. Lines out the door with reservations for check in being turned down and told to come back. Everyone was furious. We asked for at least a discount and they said they couldn’t only Expedia could. Spoke with Expedia and they couldn’t discount either supposedly. DO NOT GO HERE Expedia should absolutely remove this hotel or help their client

Property is trash. Check in was exhausting. They charge a resort fee and a parking fee. The beds are comfy. You had to hold the door just right for it to lock and even then the door lock didnt fully extend. We were on the first floor and water was leaking from the ceiling. There was also mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, obviously the water leaking is an issue that isn’t getting attention. Took me about an hour to check in.

Our second visit and stay at HBH in the last 2 months. We love the atmosphere. Clean, safe beaches and cute rooms. We plan on returning every chance we get.

My stay was great my only issue is not getting my incident deposit back yet..ive used same debit card 17 times at 16 other hotels abd i recieve it back w in 48hours..going on 6 days other than that it was great and the lady at the front desk who checked me in was great aswell

We ended up getting a room at the Neptune, which is part of the hotel. We loved our room. It was perfect. I would definitely go back to it again and stay at the Neptune.

The pictures of Expedia showed cute, clean, friendly property however, upon arriving, they charged for STREET parking, the room was really old and worn out, the wall AC unit didn't work, and while it was clean, it just felt like everything was really old and worn out VS. the photos showing a quaint, charming space. We immediately went to the front desk and they were unwilling to anything but move to another old worn out room... We called Expedia to facility at cancellation on a 2 night reservation and the hotel REFUSED to even compromise and offer a one night refund. It was not only the falsely advertised images but also the unwillingness to compromise on what they knew was falsely advertised conditions. This is the first negative review I have written and it is primarily to bring others awareness to this the property's reality and because the management was completely unwilling to compromise.

Only thing I would change is making it clear that where you’re staying and the office is different so put directions on each reservation that the customer needs to go to Main office and that address.

Very terrible experience. Photos of the rooms are fake. I paid for a room with an ocean view and when I checked in, they told me and other angry guests, “The room shown in the photos are from an unfinished property; it doesn’t exist, the room you reserved is unavailable.” They gave me an upgrade to a “superior suite” which was completely trashy and run down from one of their properties without an ocean view. Then they said, “You can upgrade to an ocean view room for an additional $192.” Which is the room I originally booked but was apparently unavailable. All they’re doing here is trying to scam and get more money out of you. Don’t recommend staying here at all. Poor customer service and inconvenient.
