"Owner was accommodating. Place was clean and nice for the price. The entrance was a little off putting but once you get past that, it was good to go. There is a bar downstairs that plays music into the night and morning but we slept through it. The A/C is very smart so we struggled to keep the temperature comfortable through the night. "We really enjoyed staying in this little home. It is within walking distance of downtown Watkins Glen so it is very easy to walk to if you choose to do so. The inside was very clean and well kept. We liked the close proximity to various winerys and restaurants. It made it very easy to stop back and drop off our goodies we collected throughout the days we were there."

"Cozy, clean and well located, short walk to Charlotte Lake Ontario Park. Great area for dog walking with views of lake. Rental was on second floor. Windows on three sides made it very bright. Small but layout and furnishing were attractive and well thought out. Generous sized kitchen. Helpful but unobtrusive host. I'm looking forward to staying again."

"Students in my lab and I stayed here while attending a conference at Cornell, and then my family of 3 stayed afterwards over the weekend. We really enjoyed it because it was conveniently located in a very quiet neighborhood close to Cornell and everything we wanted to do, with plenty of street parking just in front. "Everything was very easy. When I rented I didn’t realize the two twin beds were two rollaways but we made it work. All three of us slept in the main room where the bed was located… more like a studio rental. Great location and easy to get back and forth from the dance competition we were attending at the local Holoday Inn."

Just a few things minor things that can be improved are: - The pool heater wasn’t working for us - Cleanliness could have been a bit better, there were a bunch of dead flies in the kitchen. - A house rules book with check-out directions would be helpful. - The living room carpet smelled of pee a bit.
