Skønt hotel - skøn beliggenhed
Lækkert hotel, dejlige værelser, venligt og dygtigt personale. Beliggenheden lige ved Holyrood Park er meget dejlig.

Vi skulle tidligt til lufthavnen og måtte tjekke ud før morgenmadsserveringen den sidste dag. Vi blev sendt fra hotellet med en fin morgenmads-madpakke. - Det var super service. De andre dage nød vi den supergode morgenmad. Sengen var noget “fjedret” at ligge i, men ellers god komfort på værelset. Supervenlig personale i både reception og restaurant.

Gode værelser godt hotel.
Fint hotel. God hjælp i receptionen. God morgenmad. Hotellet ligger ca2,5 km fra centrum. Men der er flere restauranter og indkøbsmuligheder ca 500m fra hotellet. Værelserne fine og nyistandsat bad

Perfekt beliggenhed for foden af Arthur's Seat! - og med gode bus og gang muligheder til midtbyen. Hjælpsom og venligt personale. :) Gode værelses forhold, rent og pænt... - vil helt sikkert bo på hotellet igen, næste gang i Edinburgh.:)

Fuld valuta for pengene. Kan anbefales
Hotellet er en del af et konference område. Værelset var ikke særligt stort; men fuldt op til standard med tv, kaffemaskine og internet. Morgenmaden var pragtfuld. Fra hotellet kun ca 100 m til bus stop, med forbindelse til alle de steder vi skulle (centrum/seværdigheder). Busserne er billige, dagsbillet, og de kører med meget høj frekvens. Folk i byen, på restauranter og i butikker er meget imødekommende.

Godt hotel til prisen
Hotellet er beliggende i et lukket, naturskønt område og alligevel tæt på centrum. Venligt, høfligt og imødekommende personale. Morgenbuffeten var over al forventning. Pænt udvalg og med løbende opfyldning. Tæt på offentlig transport til centrum.

Har ikke nogle egentlige klager, men hotellet lå langt fra centrum, hvilket kunne være anstrengende, når man også gik så langt som vi gjorde hver dag. Dejlig stor morgenmadsbuffet.

Pænt hotel, rent, venligt personale. Skulle lige vænne os til at spise i kantinen med højt støjniveau. Maden var ok. Afstand til city 15-20 min. gang. En ok oplevelse, vi bor der gerne igen.

Really nice room. The breakfast was great & the staff were really helpful advising us about things to do. Also got free access to a sports complex nearby with a sauna which was a bonus as we didn’t realise we got this. 😊

Everything was excellent. And I would recommend that the large sitting chairs in the rooms be recushioned, no padding at all. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay and will be back.

The property's location was ideal for us. My daughter was studying the the Univ of Edinburgh and staying at Pollack halls. The proximity made it easier to see her and make plans. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and staff is very friendly. The bath amenities are top-rated! The heated towel rack helped a lot too. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Clean, spacious rooms. Incredibly helpful staff, nothing too much trouble , went the extra mile helping with my disabled 93 yr old mum. Staff always bright & cheerful. Restaurant food and breakfasts were excellent- great quality food and choice.

A real find.
Don’t be put off by the uninspiring building. Lovely rooms, huge beds, great shower. All the staff were delightful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

Stayed a few times and it’s always been a pleasure however the reservations team (I assume aren’t based in hotel) are very rude and condescending. It’s a shame because the staff in house are excellent

The Scholar staff is amazing and very friendly! I appreciated their approach to helping me when I needed something. I also had dinner at the restaurant and that was great too. The hotel is super clean and walking distance to many nearby locations. The room was nicely spaced and organized. The amenities was very good too! The lounge area was a nice place to sit and catch up on your work or just read. Again, staff is amazing!

The staff were lovely and helpful. The accomodation was beautiful, practical and at a good price. I am pretty sure I'll be back and my friend too

Wonderful stay
Amazing hotel room, services, and breakfast choices! Went there for a conference and the hotel is situated at the same site as John McIntyre Conference Hall. Very convenient, would recommend!
