An idyllic treat set in stunning surroundings with personal and sole use of a hot tub and indoor swimming pool.Warmly welcomed by Karen on arrival.Blackthorns is spotlessly clean, has everything you could possibly need.Eggs, milk, biscuits, tea & coffee all supplied.We will definitely be returning and our adult children too.Thank you once again Karen & Peter for our Wonderful stay."

"Had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful little cottage. Jan and Nick provide everything you could possibly need. Lovely and clean. A real home from home. Set in the heart of the countryside, it provides peace and tranquility, with regular visits to the hanging feeders from a host of birds. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway. Thank you."

"Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. "

"We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!"

"We instantly felt at home in this holiday house – and so did our dogs! Everything was super clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed - and much more. The fully fenced garden was a big plus, so our dogs could run around freely.There were even bowls, towels, and some treats for the dogs (and also for us)– such a thoughtful touch! Für die Sauberkeit ziehe ich einen Punkt ab da auf den Fensterbretter Dreck und Spinnweben waren und im Gefrierschrank noch etwas drin lag und nicht alle Fächer auf gingen, da er total vereist war. "This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it. We tried to set off the dishwasher just the once, but the top shelf was attached by elastic bands and so we didn't risk putting anything there. Had we been going to stay longer I would...
